Research On Farmers’ Green Agricultural Technology Adoption Behavior And Its Influencing Factors In Jilin Province

The development of green agriculture has become a hot research issue in the current academic circles.The development of green agriculture can not only ensure national ecological security,resource security and food security,but also develop and improve the current agricultural and rural environment.In the past,for the sake of economic development,our country adopted a model of sacrificing resources and the environment in exchange for rapid development.Now,with the non-renewable resources and the difficulty in controlling environmental pollution,the high-consumption development mode has become unsustainable.It is now necessary to break the agricultural development mode of high investment,over-exploitation of resources and high consumption,take the road of green agricultural development,and accelerate the transformation of agricultural greening.The development of green agriculture can deepen the structural reform of the agricultural supply side,and green agricultural technology is an important guarantee for realizing the green transformation of agriculture.The No.1 document in 2021 proposes to insist on promoting the reduction and efficiency of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,promote the green prevention and control products and technologies of crop diseases and insect pests,and vigorously develop organic agricultural products,green agricultural products and agricultural products with geographical indications.The governments of Jilin Province began to respond to the call,and promoted and adopted a series of environment-friendly green agricultural technologies in the process of agricultural production practice,in order to change the original production methods and achieve the purpose of not only ensuring the development of agricultural economy but also promoting environmental conservation and development.However,most farmers in Jilin Province still rely on their own traditional agricultural development methods,and they are not very enthusiastic about adopting green agricultural technologies,and the adoption rate is low.The governments of Jilin Province guide farmers to adopt new technologies through publicity,training,policy tools,etc.,but the adoption behavior of farmers is still not high.Therefore,how to promote farmers to adopt green agricultural technology,transform traditional agricultural production methods,apply green agricultural technology to production practice,and promote agricultural green transformation has become the top priority.This research mainly takes green agricultural technology as the research object,and focuses on the influencing factors of farmers’ green agricultural technology adoption behavior in Jilin Province.Through the combination of literature review method,field investigation method and empirical analysis method,the research and analysis of farmers’ green agricultural technology adoption behavior in Jilin Province is carried out.First,understand the current situation of green agricultural technology promotion in Jilin Province,including the general situation of agricultural production in Jilin Province,the current situation of chemical fertilizer application in Jilin Province,and have an in-depth understanding of the promotion of soil testing and formula technology in Jilin Province.Secondly,based on the field survey questionnaires of 10 villages in Jilin Province,269 valid questionnaires were collected.Based on the theory of technology diffusion,the theory of farmers’ behavior and the theory of public goods,the analysis of individual characteristics of farmers,family endowments,economic benefits and risks,Descriptive analysis of farmers’ adoption behavior of soil testing and formula technology was carried out in terms of government promotion and finance.Finally,on the basis of relevant literature research and actual investigation,an empirical analysis model is constructed,and the binary Logistic regression model is used to empirically analyze the adoption behavior of farmers’ soil testing and formula technology,and the main influencing factors of farmers’ soil testing and formula technology adoption behavior are clarified.The research results show that nine factors,including age,education level,party members,village cadres,farmland scale,family net income,access channels,government training and government subsidies,are related to the adoption of soil testing and formula technology.Based on this,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:(1)Farmers participate in training to improve their own awareness;(2)Farmers broaden channels to promote technology adoption;(3)Establish demonstration models to strengthen their leading role;(4)Accelerate land transfer and promote Scale operation;(5)Establish a compensation mechanism to reduce adoption costs.
