The economic and trade cooperation between China and Kenya has a long history and can be traced back to Zheng He’s voyages to the West.In recent years,thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both sides,the cooperative relationship between China and Kenya has continued to deepen.The two countries have successively established China-Kenya comprehensive cooperative partnership and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.Moreover,after China proposed the "Belt and Road" initiative,Kenya has been regarded as a strategic fulcrum country of the "Belt and Road" and at the same time as a "pioneer,pilot" model country for China-Africa capacity cooperation.More and more Chinese companies are investing and contracting projects in Kenya,including construction companies such as China Road and Bridge,energy companies such as Petro China and Sinopec,and communications companies such as Huawei and ZTE.It can be seen that there are not only a large number of Chinese-funded enterprises in Kenya,but also a wide range of industries.Due to the huge cultural differences between China and Kenya,different legal and regulatory systems,and differences in values ??and ways of thinking,these companies will encounter various problems when entering into multinational operations.Human resource management is one of the most severe problems faced by Chinese-funded enterprises operating in Kenya,and has created huge obstacles to the normal operation of Chinese-funded enterprises.How to solve this problem has become the most concerned issue for human resource researchers and business managers.Based on a cross-cultural perspective,this article expounds the concepts and connotations of cross-cultural and cross-cultural human resource management and training development;analyzes the current state of human resource development in Kenya,and on this basis,further analyzes the cross-cultural human resource training of Chinese-funded enterprises in Kenya Development status,including the characteristics,scale and existing problems of China’s investment in Kenya.Based on the current status and problems of cross-cultural human resource training in Kenya,a set of questionnaires was designed,mainly to investigate the situation of employees of Chinese-funded enterprises on the cross-cultural human resources training of their companies,and use the scores obtained by the Barre’s Law The scale scores the importance and urgency of existing problems,and finally gets a ranking of the importance and urgency of problem solving in inter-text training development.Based on the above research results,this article presents strategies for human resource training and development of Chinese-funded enterprises in Kenya from a cross-cultural perspective,including building a scientific cross-cultural human resource training and development system,enriching the content and methods of cross-cultural human resource training for employees,and establishing cross-cultural human resource training.The feedback mechanism of cultural human resource training and assessment and the strengthening of staff’s cross-cultural human resource training behavior concept management.This research enriches the cross-cultural human resource training and development theory of Chinese-funded enterprises in Africa.
