Research On Temporal And Spatial Differentiation And Influencing Factors Of Tourism Ecological Efficiency In China’s Coastal Areas

Tourism has a direct and indirect multiplier effect on the modern world economic system.After the reform and opening up,China’s tourism has not only become an important pillar of the national economy,but also a driving force to improve people’s happiness index,but also increased the burden on the environment.Ecological problems such as global warming,water pollution,habitat destruction and resource depletion have become increasingly prominent.Therefore,the research on the ecological efficiency of tourism destinations is the basis for formulating and implementing inclusive and sustainable development policies,analyzing the relationship between tourism activities and socio-economic,ecological environment and resources,diagnosing the impact of human activities on the environment,so as to regulate the human land relationship in the tourism environment system.Thesis follows the general writing process and establishes the evaluation index system by combing the relevant literature.Based on the perspective of geography,Thesis uses the super-SBM model and combines ecology,environmental science and tourism to analyze the 11 coastal provinces and cities.The specific research method is based on the statistical yearbook data,using the methods of kernel density estimation,standard deviation ellipse and center of gravity model to analyze the temporal and spatial dynamic evolution law of tourism ecological efficiency in China’s coastal areas.Finally,the main factors affecting tourism ecological efficiency are discussed according to Tobit model,and the main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the time series change characteristics,from 2006 to 2018,the level of tourism ecological efficiency in China’s coastal areas showed a fluctuating upward trend,the kernel density function shifted to the right and the "double peak" characteristics were obvious,which was generally at the medium efficiency level.Among them,Tianjin(1.645)and Shanghai(1.435)have the highest average tourism ecological efficiency,which belong to high-efficiency areas;The efficiency of Jiangsu Province(920.1)and Fujian Province(920.5)is medium;Zhejiang Province(0.675),Shandong Province(0.665)and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region(0.635)belong to low efficiency level;Hebei Province(0.464),Hainan Province(0.435)and Liaoning Province(0.328)belong to low efficiency level,the value of tourism ecological efficiency varies greatly among provinces and regions,and the imbalance between regions still exists.(2)From the perspective of spatial pattern characteristics,the focus of tourism ecological efficiency showed a moving trend in the direction of "northeast southwest" f rom 2006 to 2018.The standard deviation ellipse area fluctuated and expanded during the study period,reflecting the high spatial concentration of tourism ecological efficiency.When the long axis shows a large standard deviation,the spatial pattern shows an expanding trend in the north-south direction;When the standard deviation of the minor axis is small,the spatial pattern in the east-west direction shows a contraction trend.From the perspective of the three coastal economic zones,the standard deviation ellipse of the pan Bohai rim and Pan Pearl River Delta economic zones is distributed in the direction of "northeast southwest",and the Pan Yangtze River Delta economic zone is distributed in the direction of "northwest southeast".(3)Through the analysis of the factors affecting tourism ecological efficiency,it can be seen that the level of economic development,human capital,environmental regulation and scientific and technological innovation have passed the positive correlation test,the level o f opening to the outside world has passed the negative correlation test,and the industrial structure has not passed the significance test.The analysis of influencing factors will help China’s coastal areas adjust the proportion of input-output factors in the process of tourism development according to the impact results,and further promote the upgrading of industrial structure and the wide application of scientific and technological innovation in tourism environmental protection,so as to improve the quality and efficiency of tourism ecological efficiency in coastal areas.
