Study On Multi-national Project Team’s Communication Management Of V Company’s F Auto-parts Project

With the continuous development of economic globalization,multi-national project teams are needed by more and more global projects.The communication management of multi-national project teams should be involved in the whole project development life time.And the communication management of multi-national project teams will face various of problems.How to solve these problems is particularly important in the company’s project management.This thesis mainly studied the communication management of the multi-national project team of F auto parts project of V company.Introduced the organizational structure and product development process of V company firstly,and used the way of interview to find the main problems existing in the communication management of the multi-national project team of F auto parts project.Then,through the analysis of the interview results,it is concluded that the main problems affecting the communication management of multi-national project teams are:chaotic communication,unable to effectively deal with cross-cultural communication,and low efficiency in dealing with project problems.Through further analysis,we found that the main reasons for these problems are: incomplete communication management plan,team member failed to identify obstacles of cross-cultural communication,and lack of clear responsibility allocation and problem escalation process.Finally,a series of improvement proposals are suggested to solve above problems,such as improving the communication management plan,organizing cross-cultural knowledge training,establishing a clear RASIC chart,etc.The implementation of these improvement proposals has indeed played a positive role in the communication of multi-national project teams,and the communication efficiency of the team has been significantly improved.This thesis studied the communication management of multi-national project teams,hoping to be a reference and guidance for the communication management of similar multinational project teams.Hope to make contribution to reduce the communication cost of enterprises.
