Communication Management Study Of ERP Project In A Foreign Enterprise A

With further development of economy globalization,business administration and management across countries and regions are becoming a quite popular trend along with increasing global projects occurred with various culture backgrounds and complicated organization structures involved.Communication management should be a critical studying area on how to improve efficiency and ensure the success of any global projects.Productive communication management is a very important approach of reuniting,creating and team culture building as well as integrating cross-organizations.By identifying characteristics and obstacles of cross –region projects,communication management could also help outline and define an effective project plan which would ensure the success of any projects rolled out globally.Firstly,based on the PMBOK(Project Management Body of Knowledge)and the theory of project communication management,the thesis focused on the characteristics of the project communications and its difficulties during the ERP project in processes of develop,implementing,support and enhancement for a foreign enterprise A.Secondly,the thesis studied and analyzed communication management skills and information management under the circumstances of cross –culture,cross –departments and cross –regions of the global project and built the communication management plan and strategies with regards to the expectations and their influences over the project from different stakeholders.Lastly,after researched and studied the background,reasons behind,implementation process and solution of communication management plan and strategy,the thesis summarized and put forward suggestions and its feedbacks during the implementation followed by effective analysis.From the communication management perspective which is a part of ‘soft skills' of project management,in the whole process of the project deployment for the foreign enterprise A,the thesis has achieved the two goals expected: 1.built up communication management strategy under the circumstances of cross –culture and various management mindsets interactions during the ERP project of foreign enterprise A.2.The innovation of flexible and effective utilization of communication management strategy built for a cross –culture and regions project.The thesis studied communication management from a quite border way in terms of different dimensions,levels and perspectives and implemented it to solve various problems and issues encountered during the project.The thesis could provide practice guidance for those who are trying to implement or involve in a similar project like this,and also could be a reference on how to build and implement an effective communication management mechanism in a complicated project environment.
