The semiconductor industry is a technology-intensive industry at the forefront of the electronic industry.Characterized by a large proportion of r&d investment,both national strategy and market,and a high degree of talent dependence,the industry is a strategic,basic and pioneering industry that supports economic and social development and safeguards national security.Semiconductor materials as a very important part of the semiconductor industry chain upstream link,plays a key role in chip manufacturing,as the Chinese market is becoming more and more mature,industry competition environment,competitive conditions and competition rules are constantly changing,the semiconductor industry is worth studying how to choose the development strategy of the company issues.E Company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of semiconductor materials,mainly producing and selling products and services for pollution control in semiconductor and other high-tech industries,semiconductor material processing such as key materials and advanced processing materials,advanced chemical filtration and purification,etc.,with sales regions throughout North America,Europe and Asia Pacific.After browsing a large number of relevant products and strategic theoretical research results,the author chooses the research on the development strategy of E Company in China as the entry point.After in-depth analysis of the global operation status and business development status of E Company in China,the author further sorted out and listed the resources and capabilities of E Company.Furthermore,this paper adopts PEST model and Porter’s Five Forces model to analyze the external environment of E company,including macro environment such as the development of China’s semiconductor material industry,industrial policy environment,economic environment,social environment and technical environment,as well as industry competition environment such as potential entrants,suppliers and substitutes.Based on the analysis results of E company’s internal resources and capacity and external macro environment,this paper USES SWOT model to make in-depth analysis of the company’s internal strengths,weaknesses and external opportunities and threats,and draws up three enterprise development strategic directions for E Company.In the analytic hierarchy process(ahp)is adopted to E company SWOT-QSPM matrix of various factors to confirm index weight,this article through to the attractive alternative strategy score weighting results and the assignment of calculation to obtain strategic plan in each factor of total attractiveness scores,for E company determines the priority development strategy of the most intensive growth strategy.Furthermore,this paper proposes specific measures and Suggestions for the implementation of E company’s development strategy in China,including: adopting the m&a strategy to enable the company to acquire more production bases and high-quality human resources in a relatively short period of time,so as to rapidly improve the company’s product capacity in China and realize business expansion;Optimize the marketing architecture,strengthen the national layout and optimize the product system,etc.Finally,this paper puts forward specific measures and Suggestions for the construction of E company’s strategic guarantee system in China from the perspectives of strategic implementation control,organization and human resources.Through the above research on the products,marketing mode,industrial policy and subsequent development strategic direction of E Company,it is expected to provide valuable reference advice for the development and strategic transformation of China’s semiconductor material companies,and help the companies in the same industry to develop better.
