Research On The Tourism Information Service Of Chinese Provincial Public Libraries Under The Background Of Cultural And Tourism Integration

The “14th Five-Year” Tourism Development Plan issued by the State Council clearly pointed out that the in-depth integration and mutual promotion of culture and tourism can make tourism play a greater role in spreading Chinese excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture.During “the 14 th Five-Year Plan”period,China will implement the cultural protection,inheritance and utilization project on the basis of adhering to the principle of “building tourism with culture and promoting culture with tourism”,making an important contribution to building a cultural power.Under the background of the country’s vigorous promotion of the in-depth integration and development of cultural tourism,provincial public libraries,as public welfare public cultural organizations,have great advantages in the fields of information collection,sorting,and processing.At the same time,deepening the service innovation of provincial public libraries,it is the key to expanding the influence of the library and developing the library cause.Tourism is an industry that is highly dependent on information.Due to the information asymmetry between tourists,scenic spots and tourism enterprises,tourism enterprises take advantage of tourists’ lack of understanding of the situation and information of tourism destinations and their accumulated experience in the development process.The high degree of asymmetry between a large number of tourist information achieves the purpose of obtaining their own interests,so that the vast majority of tourists cannot obtain authoritative,fair and sufficient tourist information,which is unfair to tourists.With the help of the country’s efforts to promote the integration of culture and tourism,provincial public libraries can make use of their advantages in public information services to make up for the shortage of tourism information provided by the tourism market.Tourism and the healthy development of regional economy play an important role.Therefore,the author takes Chinese provincial public libraries as the object of investigation,on the basis of literature research,questionnaire survey and case analysis,to explore the content and methods of tourism information services provided by provincial public libraries to tourists and library users.First of all,based on the previous research,this paper expounds the advantages and feasibility of public libraries in our country to carry out tourism information services according to the current research background and the research on literature and development status.Secondly,by designing a questionnaire to draw conclusions about the public’s travel information needs.Third,sort out the contents and methods of tourism information services provided by the 18 provincial public libraries that carry out tourism information services,analyze in-depth typical cases of comprehensive tourism information services,and refine the service content and methods that are of reference significance.Finally,combining the needs of public tourism information with the current situation and experience of tourism information in domestic provincial public libraries,it summarizes the problems existing in tourism information services in provincial public libraries in my country,analyzes the reasons for the development of problems based on the current situation,and puts forward suggestions for improving service quality.
