The library entrance education is the education of how to make use of the library for the new college students purposefully and systematically.Its main purpose is to enable students to understand the basic layout of the library,master the ability to use the library to study and research,and cultivate students’ information literacy ability.At present,the traditional library entrance education mode is boring and monotonous,and the teaching effect is poor,which can no longer meet the learning needs of students.New types of library entry education games are booming,but these practical work lacks theoretical guidance.This research attempts to construct the design framework of library entrance education game under the guidance of flow theory,and develop a library entrance education game for S university library from the practical level according to this framework,verify the effectiveness and good effect of the framework and the game through educational experiments,and promote the theoretical research and practical exploration of library entry education game.This research adopts the methods of literature analysis,case study and questionnaire survey,educational experiment to study the design and application of library entrance education games based on flow theory.The main research results are summarized as follows:(1)Theoretical research results: This research adopts the method of literature analysis to summarize and sort out the concept definition and research results of the library entrance education game and flow theory.It also demonstrates the feasibility of designing and developing library entrance education game based on flow theory.Combining the results of relevant theoretical studies and case studies,this study proposes a design framework of library entrance education game based on flow theory.(2)Practical research results: Based on the analysis of learners’ needs,learners’ characteristics and learning content in the early stage,this research designs and develops a library entrance education game for S university library according to the above framework of library entry education based on flow theory.And this study carries out educational experiments to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the design framework and the game.
