Research On The Impact Of Block-chain And Information Sharing On Supply Chain Performance

With the development of society,information is circulating rapidly.Supply chain as a multi-party trading cooperation system,its internal information sharing degree is related to the operation efficiency of the whole chain.Technological progress requires supply chain to have higher flexibility and collaboration ability,so it is urgent to establish stable and efficient supply chain relationship.Block-chain is a shared database derived from the application of information technology,which is non-falsifiable,open and transparent,and is enjoyed by various industries.At present,there are relatively few empirical studies on the application of block-chain in the supply chain in the academic circle.How the application of block-chain affects the performance of the supply chain and how enterprises use block-chain to bring greater benefits for themselves are all urgent issues to be solved.In this paper,the application of block-chain technology as the background,from the perspective of China’s enterprise supply chain management,using CiteSpace keyword clustering method of information sharing,social control and supply chain performance and other relevant literature review,further clarify the importance of strengthening supply chain management;Based on transaction cost theory,social exchange theory,dynamic capability theory and principal-agent theory,the structural model is established.In this study,246 retail and manufacturing enterprises were surveyed and data were collected,SPSS 26.0 was used for correlation analysis and regression test of the valid survey data.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The application of block-chain technology in supply chain has a positive impact on the supply chain information sharing and enterprises trust,and the degree of information sharing affects the enterprises trust to a certain extent.(2)In the process of block-chain technology’s impact on supply chain performance,inter-firm information sharing and tru st level play a positive mediating role.(3)In the process of inter-firm trust level’s impact on supply chain performance,social control plays a positive moderating role.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following recommendations for enterprises in supply chain management:focus on inter-enterprise information sharing and relationship governance,establish trust-based cooperative relationships,and appropriately increase financial investment in information technology.This study provides a basis for enriching supply chain management theory,while introduces the impact of block-chain technology on supply chain to enterprises,paving the way for China’s retail and manufacturing enterprises to choose information operation technology,and providing insights for improving supply chain management efficiency,reducing supply chain operation costs,and enabling enterprises to seek greater benefits.
