Audio-visual publications are an important part of the cultural industry and also one of the channels of cultural dissemination in China,the success of their marketing strategies affects the development of the cultural industry directly.As the process of globalization continues to accelerate and international cultural exchanges become more frequent,the market competition for audiovisual publications has become more intense,and the formulation and execution of marketing strategies are crucial to the success of audiovisual publication sales.Both China and South Korea are representatives of East Asian cultures.However,the cultural backgrounds and consumption habits of these two markets differ significantly,which leads to significant differences in the marketing strategies of audio-visual publications in the two markets.This paper mainly adopts a comparative research approach,taking the marketing strategies of audiovisual publications in China and South Korea from pop music as an example,and compares the different marketing environments and marketing subjects in the music industries of China and South Korea.Based on the 4P marketing theory,this paper conducts a comparative analysis of the marketing strategies of audiovisual publications in China and South Korea,including the product positioning strategy,price strategy,promotion strategy,and channel strategy,and analyzes the common development process of the music publishing industries in both countries.It also analyzes the common characteristics and driving factors in the development of music publishing industries in both countries.The aim is to explore the similarities and differences in the marketing strategies of audiovisual publications in different cultural contexts.For Chinese and South Korean audiovisual publication companies,understanding the characteristics of the market and formulating appropriate marketing strategies are important prerequisites for achieving market success.We hope the analysis in this paper can provide useful references for audiovisual publication enterprises.
