With the2012July Zhejiang TV’s "The voice of china" and2013January Hunan TV "I’m a singer" broadcast, music talent show once again hit the screen, become the hottest form of the program. It is in the commercial operation conditions, with the help of television media platform, with the characteristics of low threshold, easy participation and popular as reproduced, its contents are the vulgar tendency, lead to doubts and criticism from the public, the bottleneck in development, breakthrough in2012to "The voice of china " as the representative of China it suggests that the music talent show success from "super girl" program began to2012, music talent show has gone through ten years, the program content and form are changed in different degree. The occurrence and development of any phenomenon, is closely related with their cultural background."the show", is a symbol of culture of the times, was a symbol of popular culture,its development is deeply affected by mass culture, mass culture of excessive pursuit of commercial interests, standardized defects also highlighted in the music talent show, so this paper from the cultural point of view, the main use of the is the critical theories of mass culture of Frankfurt, features, analysis of talent show stage of development, problems, and through the method of case analysis, draw elements show success and problems needed to solve, and proposes some suggestions on future development and program.The first chapter introduces the domestic and foreign research level and development trend of the music talent show; the second chapter mainly elaborates and reflection of popular culture critical theory of Frankfurt school; the third chapter introduces the development stages of the music talent show, from the comparative analysis of "super girl" and "The voice of china" with theory of the second chapter; the fourth chapter is outlook for China’s TV show in the setting of the popular culture.
