Along with the development of new media technology,people’s needs are changing and their learning style is shifting from paper-based learning to online learning through We Chat.The We Chat public platform has become a mobile learning tool used by libraries,museums and other industries,as well as a powerful tool for people and companies to carry out new business,and is gradually becoming an important means of information exchange.The widespread use of We Chat systems in university libraries has created opportunities to facilitate the development of more industry models.On this basis,timely updates and releases of various information resources such as professional information,collection materials,online services and electronic data can be achieved,thus improving the effective use and management of school library data and the correct use of data resources by university teachers and researchers.Nonetheless,there is a constant need to find better ways to improve services to users.Higher education libraries need to keep up with the times,use new technologies and models to improve their services,enhance the effective use of their collections and understand the actual needs of their users so as to improve their availability and usability and achieve optimal benefits.Based on a study of the current situation of the implementation of We Chat services in thirty-five university libraries in Nanning,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,this paper uses the big data research method,the project analysis method and the network research method to systematically analyse the current situation and problems of the public platform of We Chat services in university libraries in Nanning,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,and to identify and summarise the existing problems.Based on the information collected and the data analysis of the use and development of We Chat services in school libraries,adaptive solutions were proposed.At the same time,the construction and services of the We Chat public platforms of outstanding university libraries are studied and experienced while drawing on the experience of expanding basic services,resource services and personal characteristics services.It is expected that with the improvement of content information in each service area,some research and reference can be brought to the business development of We Chat public platforms of university libraries in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Nanning City. |
