Since the launch of WeChat, has been widely used by users and love, WeChat’s user volume is also rising every year. Since the establishment of WeChat library platform, making the communication between the library and the user has become more simple, more convenient, but also really improve the utilization of the book literature. The emergence of WeChat provides an opportunity for the development of library information services. This paper makes a survey on the use of WeChat in 985 university libraries, and makes a systematic study of the WeChat library by using mobile phone, computer network research, consulting literature, telephone interviews and so on. Firstly, it defines the concept of WeChat, and expounds the way and content of the information service of the library. Secondly, through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the WeChat service in university library, the new library service model is constructed, and the voice response, automatic answering, manual service and other services are also pointed out. Third, combined with the characteristics of WeChat software, the use of micro video for the library’s information services to do innovation. Finally, it puts forward some suggestions on the development of the information service of WeChat library. |
