| As one of the most representative journals,popular digest journals have an irreplaceable role to play in spreading advanced socialist culture and enlightening wisdom,and their importance is self-evident.Since the mobile Internet era,paper publications have faded from the public’s view,and the traditional publishing industry has been greatly impacted.Audio books are developing rapidly,and "listening" books have freed readers’ eyes and awakened their ears,facilitating people’s reading.This is both an opportunity and a challenge for popular digest journals.On the one hand,audio publishing has enriched the form of products and increased the vitality of journals;on the other hand,audio publishing has been developed in China for a relatively short period of time and the operation mechanism is still immature,so there are still some shortcomings that need to be solved.The research combines documentary analysis,questionnaire survey,case study and in-depth interviews to explore the practice of audio publishing in the era of mobile internet for popular digest journals.Firstly,a questionnaire was used to understand the characteristics of the audience in the mobile Internet era,including the basic information,channels of contact and listening habits,willingness to pay and personal preference of the respondents.And the development of audio books is discussed in relation to the types of audio books and the characteristics of audio books.At the same time,the analysis of the existing literature discusses the motivations for the emergence of the issue from four levels: policy,technology,sensory and user.Secondly,taking the old Chinese popular digest journal DUZHE as a case study,the analysis of its audio publishing is carried out on three levels:content production,distribution platform and the development of journals,based on the Introduction of the publication.Then,through in-depth interviews,we further understand the audience’s experience and other related issues,and finally sort out the problems in the process of topic planning,sound recording and processing,and distribution and profit of the popular digest journal in the mobile Internet era,and propose targeted strategies to solve them.The research finds that audio publishing in the mobile Internet era is an effective way to upgrade and transform the publication of traditional popular digest journals,and each journal should follow the pace of the times and explore an audio publishing path suitable for its own development,and pay attention to the following issues: in terms of topic planning,the style of the publication should be enriched on the basis of adhering to the purpose of the journal,so as to meet the needs of different groups as far as possible;in terms of audio recording and processing,suitable recording methods should be selected according to the text.In the area of sound recording and processing,appropriate recording methods should be chosen according to the content of the text,post-editors should carry out appropriate post-processing according to the content of the work,and consciously combine text,pictures and other forms to make the communication content three-dimensional.In the area of distribution,interactive habits should be cultivated to enhance the loyalty of listeners,and the content of different platforms should be differentiated;.In the area of marketing strategies,we should maintain our brand image,continuously improve our payment model and broaden our profit channels. |
