| Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR)is an optical detection technique used to analyze the interactions between biological molecules.In recent years,metasurfaces,a new type of artificial material,have attracted widespread attention.Metasurfaces can precisely control the amplitude,phase,and polarization direction of the optical field,while also exhibiting high sensitivity and selectivity.Therefore,combining metasurfaces with SPR can further enhance the sensitivity and resolution of SPR technology and expand its application range.Thus,exploring the mechanism and application of the combination of metasurfaces and SPR will be of significant importance for improving the precision and sensitivity of biological analysis and detection technology.This paper mainly involves three aspects of research.Firstly,theoretical studies were conducted on the sensor technology based on SPR,exploring its basic principles,excitation conditions,reflection spectrum calculation methods,and performance indicators.The paper provides theoretical derivation for the application of metasurfaces in changing the dielectric constant and magnetic permeability of the transmission layer and briefly introduces Comsol simulation software,which can support the design and performance analysis of metasurfaces.Through this research,it is expected to further optimize SPR-based sensor technology,improve its sensitivity and resolution,and provide more reliable detection methods for practical applications.Secondly,this paper analyzed in detail the effects of different factors such as light sources,prisms,and metal films in the prism-coupled SPR sensor system on the sensor performance indicators.Through experiments and data analysis,the influence of different parameters on the SPR curve and resonance angle was studied,further optimizing the performance indicators of the sensor.Meanwhile,the paper provides targeted guidance and substantial help for the design and application of SPR sensors.Finally,the feasibility of combining metasurfaces with SPR was briefly discussed,and two types of sensors combining metasurfaces and SPR were designed.The first sensor is a square metasurface combined with an SPR sensor,which was compared with traditional SPR structures,demonstrating a significant improvement in angle modulation sensitivity.The second sensor is based on the square metasurface sensor and designed with butterfly-shaped metasurface materials,further improving the sensitivity of angle modulation,and investigating the mechanism and principle of the improved effect.Through theoretical derivation,simulation modeling,and experimental verification,this study provides a new idea for the design of sensors combining metasurfaces and SPR,as well as new methods and ideas for related research and applications.. |
