The Research On The Narrative Form Of CCTV’s <Going To The Masses During The Spring Festival> News Special Program

The research on narrative form is concerned with the inner expression and outer pattern of the narrative text,which is the main expression of narrative diversity.The special programming mechanism,subject matter selection and narrative style of TV news special programs make them occupied an irreplaceable position in TV news programs.The narrative pattern is an important foundation for the strong communication power and influence of TV news special programs.The formation of narrative form is also the process of narrativization.CCTV’s <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program takes Spring Festival as the narrative context and grassroots people’s livelihood stories as its narrative core.During its thirteen years of practical exploration,it has explored a narrativization path that suits the development of the program and opened up a unique narrative form of TV news special programs.This paper takes narrative theory as the cornerstone of research,and selects CCTV’s <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program as the research sample to explore the narrativization process of the program,and on this basis,analyzes the specific style of its narrative form one by one.It also gives a detailed and systematic overview and analysis on the characteristics of CCTV’s <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program.This paper consists of five parts.The first part mainly elaborates the overview of TV news special programs,including the definition of the concept,development history,personality characteristics and so on.The second part explores the tendency of narrativization of TV news special programs.That is the process from narration to narrative.Firstly,it clarifies the narrative context in which the TV news special program is placed.Secondly,it analyzes the relationship between authenticity and narrativization.Finally,it summarizes the four stages of narrative evolution in the thirteen years of development of the special program,namely,the initial exploration period,development period,maturity period and innovation period.In the third part,the narrative discourse elements of the news special program <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> will be analyzied by applying the relevant theories of narratology.The three aspects of narrative perspective,narrative time and narrative audio-visual art are discussed to lay the theoretical foundation for the discourse composition of narrative forms.The fourth part focuses on analyzing and summarizing the specific narrative text mode of the <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program.This paper takes into account the narrative practice of the program over the past thirteen years and the development of media integration in China.It also summarizes three common narrative modes of the special program,namely the emotional narrative mode,the ritual narrative mode and the cross-media narrative mode.The fifth part considers the narrativization value of the <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program.In order to show its extreme functions in social and cultural aspects,the creators need to re-examine and rethink the narrativization path of the future program in the context of the all-media era.The purpose of this paper is to sort out the narrative discourse elements and narrative text mode of the <Going to the masses during the Spring Festival> news special program,to construct the basis of narrative research of TV news special programs,to enrich the narrative research content of TV news special programs,and to create a TV news special program with both quality content and value for China.
