Narrative Inquiry On The Thematic Program In CCTV Spring Festival Gala

The CCTV Spring Festival Gala noted as a culture of eve dinner, which has been witnessed China’s change for three decades. The cultural value of this gala is more profound than that of it is artistic value. It shows our nation’s prosperous and powerful. It also stands for the orientation of advanced culture. And it is a soul of constructing the harmonious society.As we all know. China is going through a transitional period, so the Spring Festival Gala is kind of national consciousness to show this transition, and the analysis for Spring Festival Gala become much more important for us. Not only it carrying the power of social and culture, but also it reveals the power of politics and economic. The gala was won a Guinness viewing champions since it was born in a specific historical environment of China. During that period, the whole country citizen turns out to watch the gala. Technically saying, it was the people that made this gala successful.From that perspective, it is closely associated with philosophy of the postclassical narratology. From that conception, postclassical narratologies pay more attention to the audience feeling, it aimed to combine historical context with social practical. By this theory leading, the main idea of my paper has been produced. Because the postclassical narratology inherit the classical narratology. In this paper. I will elaborate the narratology from it’s origin to it’s develop, at the same time. I will organize into two relations. After I state this theory clearly, I can use it into my paper and make a concrete analysis on the program of The CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
