| Color Matching Function(CMF)is the quantity of red,green and blue three primary colors required to match each monochromatic light in the iso-energy spectrum,and is the basic data of current color measurement and calculation.In 1931 and 1964,CIE successively introduced the population-averaged color matching function under the condition of standard field of view and large field of view,which is widely used in color measurement and calculation.But in fact,there is a certain degree of difference in the visual characteristics of observers with normal color vision,and this difference will lead to the phenomenon of observer metamerism.In recent years,with the emergence of newly developed narrow-band spectral display devices such as liquid crystal displays LCD,LED,and OLED,the phenomenon of observer metamerism has become more and more prominent.At the same time,with the rise of services such as personalization and customization,the study of individual visual characteristics is bound to become an important research hotspot in the future.In order to study the spectral responses of the visual cones of normal observers with different color vision,this topic firstly conducts color matching experiments of 110 observers to simulate Colorcheck24 colors based on the combination of four monitors with different spectral energy distributions(12 groups).The two monitors with the largest observer’s metamerism index set up a real observer color matching experimental device;the GUI interface of the two monitors was designed in MATLAB,and 25 observers with normal color vision were organized.The color matching experiment of Colorcheck24 colors was carried out by the eye matching method,and a total of 912 sets of spectral data were collected.Based on the Monte Carlo algorithm based on the official data published by the Chinese census,the "individual chromaticity observer model" is optimized to generate 10,000 color matching functions for each age distribution,and find the most suitable individual through the minimum color difference method.The color matching function of,and make a comparative evaluation.The study found that the performance of different color matching functions is different,and the performance advantage of the standard observer CIE 1964 color matching function is not obvious.Although the color matching function of individual chromaticity observers cannot improve the matching accuracy of the observers at each color center,overall,the color difference between the target color and the matching color of the 24 observers is higher than that of the original CIE1964 CMFs,CIE PO06 CMFs,CIE2015CMFs,and the color difference calculated by the color matching function of Sarkar classification has decreased.In this subject,the color matching function of four observers with large differences in visual characteristics is used to make the characteristic files of the display,and the characteristic files are applied to the screen soft proofing for direct evaluation and indirect evaluation.The study found that individual observers were relatively satisfied with the effect of screen soft proofing using their own characterization files,but they were not satisfied with the screen soft proofing effect of observing characterization files of other color matching functions.The color gamut of the characteristic files produced by the color matching function is different,which has certain guiding significance for the application of screen soft proofing. |
