At present, the main limitation of projection display system is must project image on high quality white screen. If the arbitrary surface in the life,such as walls, ceiling, wooden doors, curtains and so on, can be seen as a screen, will make the projection system has more extensive application. However, the arbitrary surfaces have its own colors, patterns or surface markings. So the protected image will distort because of the modulation of the spatially varying reflection characteristics of the surface.This article proposes a color correction method for colored screen projection based on YCbCr space and color invariant model. First, change the corresponding YCbCr matrix of the distortion image brightness distribution, realize the brightness distortion compensation. Second, use color invariant model. Through the chromaticity ratio calculation of the original image and the target image finish chromaticity correction. This method not only compensates for the uneven brightness distribution caused by screen color, but also reduces the reflectance impact caused by different spatial beam. Finally, by projecting the compensation image on a texture pattern and single color surface, the image quality has been greatly improved.
