Study On The Design Of Dynamic Color For Screen Texts

The rapid development and wide application of dynamic graphic designare the inevitable results from the development of the social cultural andthe advancement of the science and technology in today’s society. Digitaltechnology gradully influencs and expands our demands of visual aesthetic.Dynamic color design of screen texts therefore encounters more abundantexpression means and representation platforms.This paper explores the dynamic color of screen texts from threeaspects: the digitally representing of color for screen texts, motionproperties of screen texts color, and the experimental analysis of the screentexts and the dynamic color. The representation of dynamic color of screentexts is analyzed with the digital display devices as the carrier for theresearched object, referring to the principles of digital screen color imaging,the traditional color composition, modern colorimetry and cognitiveergonomics, and from the view point of the physical and psychologicalaspects of human eyes. Furthermore, experimental study is conducted onthe four relationships of screen texts and dynamic color designs: logic,emotion, background and motion. Then three design principles for dynamiccolor design screen texts under the condition are summarized from these experiments. Firstly, try to keep a balance between attraction andreadability. Secondly, content and form, movement pattern and displayconditions, performance and ergonomics should be well-matched. Finally,there should be a balance between motion and stationary. A flexible andobjective multi-level design idea is proposed. Innovation is the topic fordesigner to constantly refresh. Analogy design and nature design are therecommended and emphasized tide. It is also proposed that the basic designidea of construction dynamic color for screen texts can be divided intothree directions, mood creation, local and overall concept, vigor creation.Additionally, the time and space method and ergonomic method for thedesign of dynamic color are discussed for the characteristics of dynamiccolor. It is expected that these provide a referrence for the dynamic colordesign of screen texts.
