As the storage of cultural heritage,museum not only reflects the historical accumulation of a country,but also symbolize its national culture.Marshall Mc Luhan believed that media determines social development and changes in social form,and that changes in media form complement the communication of mass culture.In the era of electronic media,cultural communication strategies of museums are constantly updated and developed due to the development of technology.Therefore,this study enriches the research aspects of museum cultural communication and cultural industry development,and expands the boundary of the discipline,starting from the perspective of communication.Based on the omnimedia perspective,this study extensively searched and sorted out museum-related communication strategies.On this basis,it used methods such as literature review,case study,field visits,and questionnaire surveysto study museum cultural communication strategies under the omnimedia perspective,respectively taking museums and audiences as the main focus.The objective was to identify the most suitable strategy for current museum cultural communication.This study is divided into five chapters.Chapter One analyzes the relevant concepts and introduces the theoretical framework used in this study.The second chapter studies the cultural communication modes of museums in different periods,and summarizes the unique advantages of museum cultural communication in the digital media era by combing the communication characteristics of museums in the traditional media period and the digital media period.Chapter three and chapter four are case studies of Guizhou Provincial Museum.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of digital communication of Guizhou Provincial Museum,the digital communication strategy of Guizhou Provincial Museum is analyzed by means of questionnaire survey,and the cultural communication effect of Guizhou Provincial museum is further analyzed and deduced based on the results.This paper summarizes the advantages and problems,and puts forward the modern path of museum cultural communication in the era of digital media,in order to bring certain significance to the development of other similar museums and cultural industry.The case study of Guizhou Provincial Museum shows that it has successfully integrated the national cultural resources of Guizhou,and conveyed the unique minority culture to a vast number of visitors.However,the museum has certain limitations in formulating communication strategies on new media side,and the communication effect obtained is insufficient.Efforts are needed to strengthen brand awareness and reconstruct media logic to modernize the museum. |
