From the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the report of the 20 th National Congress to promote cultural selfconfidence and self-improvement.The development of cultural and creative undertakings in museums has developed from " have " to " excellent " in the guidance of national policies,the promotion of the market and the broad participation of the public.Actively using the museum ’s collection resources to develop cultural and creative products has become one of the ways for museums to improve their social influence and their own ’ hematopoietic ’ ability,and it is also the embodiment of domestic museums ’ active pursuit of development.Although the favorable development environment promotes the development of the museum ’s cultural and creative industry,it also enlarges the current development dilemma of the museum ’s cultural and creative industry,such as serious homogenization,product premium and unbalanced development level.In the cultural and creative ’ boom ’,how to get rid of the simple development model to promote the sustainable development of the museum ’s cultural and creative industry has become a realistic problem facing the development of the museum ’s cultural and creative industry.Taking Guizhou Provincial Museum as an example,this paper studies the path selection of the survival and development of museum cultural and creative products in view of the fact that there are few ’ star collections ’ and low flow of people.The first chapter analyzes the current situation and experience summary of the development of cultural and creative products in Guizhou Provincial Museum;the second chapter focuses on the analysis of the causes of the museum dilemma;the third chapter discusses the choice of cultural and creative product development path of Guizhou Provincial Museum according to the smile curve theory,and carries out the development and design practice of cultural and creative products based on the Ming Dynasty glazed pottery figurines collected by Guizhou Provincial Museum to verify the feasibility of path selection.The study found that even under the guidance of national policies,the development of museum cultural and creative products is still constrained by the museum ’s public welfare management system;as a special commodity,museum managers ’ understanding of museum business activities and the importance of the market determine the direction of sustainable development of cultural and creative industries.The carrying capacity and purchasing power of the local market are the objective reasons that affect the sales volume of museum cultural and creative products.Through the smile curve theory,it provides a rational thinking mode for the content planning and form design of museum cultural and creative products,provides a visual analysis perspective for the integration of collection history and culture into the contemporary cultural environment,and establishes a new operational model for product development rooted in traditional culture,so as to help the creative transformation and innovative development of historical relics displayed in museums in the new era.
