In recent years,with the development of virtual reality technology(VR technology),the combination of VR technology and news reports not only provides more opportunities for journalism,at the same time because some VR experience news gradually into the public view,also can let the audience in the Internet information blowout and fragmented reading find an immersive way of the news access.At present,VR news is still mostly using audio-visual narrative,which covers the research category of visual narrative.When humans know things,the visual information is the most abundant,and the visual system occupies the most fundamental position of brain activity.If VR news wants to achieve the narrative effect of letting the audience know the facts,realizing empathy and understanding the idea,visual narrative should also be the most important level to consider.And investigate its visual information representation,the VR news still exposed some problems,its mainly focus on not from the law of human visual cognition to VR news,resulting in the visual cognitive validity,and the audience the degree of visual cognition and the effect of visual experience will affect the actual transmission effect of VR news.Although VR news has opened the era of full perception,the visual processing system is still the dominant sense of receiving information,understanding information and expanding cognition.Therefore,relevant domestic media should pay attention to the visual narrative of VR news,and give full play to the advantages of thinking initiative such as visual cognition,reasoning and imagination,so as to improve the narrative effect and practical value of VR news.In the existing research background,the study of VR news narrative focus on the ontology characteristics and discourse strategy,but from the perspective of visual narrative and research is not very rich,the development of VR news visual narrative effect is closely related to its actual value,the media should also be more visual thinking to make VR news.Therefore,starting from the narrative characterization of VR news and the existing problems,it is indeed necessary and valuable to study the current visual narrative of VR news.Based on the above content,this paper studies VR news from the perspective of visual narrative.The first chapter is the foothold of this paper,starting from the theoretical basis,which involves narratiology,visual perception and media aesthetics and other related theories.The second chapter mainly discusses the characteristics of VR news visual narrative,including the characteristics of spectacle,super authenticity,network structure,space presence and interactive experience.The third chapter focuses on the visual narrative strategy of VR news.This paper summarizes the unique ways of VR news in practical application from six dimensions,such as topic preference,visual guidance,perspective change,plot structure,field joint perception,and interaction design.The fourth chapter mainly focuses on some problems in the current visual narrative of VR news,including the supremacy of spectacle,excessive emotional stimulation,unclear guidance,structural redundancy and weakened effect of synawareness,focusing on the causes and effects of the problems.The last chapter is to put forward feasible improvement suggestions for the existing problems,and implement how to realize the benign development of VR news and improve the narrative effect of VR news.Finally,it is hoped that this paper can provide reference suggestions for journalism and related scholars,promote domestic media to output higher levels of VR news works,and at the same time make a contribution to further research on VR news for other scholars,so as to achieve the deep integration of VR news in the theoretical and practical level.
