| With the advancement of virtual reality technology,VR technology is affecting people's production and life at an unprecedented speed.It not only expands the development of visual communication,but also provides new technologies and forms for the news industry.Different from traditional news,VR news presents many distinctive features in its visual characteristics and narrative.At present,the research on VR news mainly focuses on technology,prospect analysis,reporting practice,and media integration.The research attention on the visual communication of VR news is obviously insufficient.Under the background of the current research status,from the perspective of visual communication starting from the research on the visual characteristics of VR news and its narrative change is particularly important.Based on the above situation,this paper chooses from the perspective of visual communication,selects relatively high-quality work cases in the industry as the research object,and analyzes the emerging medium of VR news through case analysis,literature analysis and content analysis.First,comb the development history of VR news,explore the reasons for the birth of VR news in the era of visual communication,and then sort out the visual characteristics of VR news based on the case of works,analyze the deep reasons for the formation of its characteristics,and on this basis,combine semiotic theory and visual communication theory,explore its visual narrative transformation and visual narrative performance in the process of visual communication,and finally summarize its shortcomings and put forward some suggestions.According to the analysis,the types of VR news on the market are mainly shallow immersion news represented by 360-degree panoramic news.In the presentation of visual features,subjective perspective,scatter perspective and 360°panoramic presentation greatly increase the immersion of VR news.And news producers pay more attention to the design of the interactive interface,and help VR news to spread visually through visual guide design.Its visual performance also leads to the transformation of narrative perspective,narrative structure and narrative time.Through the analysis of the case of CCTV-network VR news,it can be seen that due to the long production cycle and high production cost,the subject matter of VR news is limited,and VR news is more suitable for predictable news that focuses on display scenes,and is inclined to entertainment and leisure.In conclusion,it is hoped that this study can provide help for other scholars to further study VR journalism,so that VR technology can better serve the journalism industry. |
