The mainstream TV series plays play the role of guiding the mainstream value.In many years of practice,the educational significance and aesthetic significance are out of balance,forming stereotypes in the audience,such as too strong propaganda color,lack of interest,narrow theme and so on.This situation has changed since the TV series Minning Town was broadcast in 2021.As a TV series on poverty alleviation,Minning Town has been sought after by groups of different ages,especially youth groups,creating a double harvest in terms of audience rating and public praise.This paper takes the communication content and audience of Minning Town as the research object,and believes that the audience has reached the understanding and acceptance of the content and ideological value of the TV series in the process of emotional cognition and acceptance.From the perspective of emotional communication,this paper analyzes the emotional appeal and emotional expression in the play,and investigates the audience’s emotional concern and emotional attitude change,so as to verify the emotional communication effect of Minning Town.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the background and significance of this topic,combs the previous research results,and expounds the relevant theories and concepts.The second part analyzes the current situation of the mainstream teleplay;The third part explores the emotional communication strategy of Minning Town from three aspects: emotional appeal strategy,emotional symbol strategy and emotional narrative strategy.The fourth part investigates and analyzes the emotional communication effect of Minning Town by means of questionnaire,in order to understand the changes in cognition,acceptance and attitude of the audience after watching Minning Town.The fifth part summarizes the value of emotional communication of Minning Town,and further discusses the Enlightenment of Minning Town to the emotional communication of the mainstream TV series.It is found that emotion runs through the attention,cognition,acceptance and attitude change process of the audience of the mainstream TV series.Emotion helps the audience understand the plot and produce emotional tendencies.The experience of true feelings,which fits the real life,can stimulate the emotional resonance of the audience,and virtually build the value identity of the mainstream thought.
