In recent years, as a new mode of production and marketing, self-made TV series are dealing with market competition. While carrying forward the basic characteristics on marketing of mainstream TV series, domestic self-made TV series also add to more creativity and actual effectiveness. Domestic self-made TV series including television-made series and network self-made series. Through the use of Lasswell’s5W mode of transmission to analys the the elements of the transmation in order to illustrate both in the similarities and differences in the mode of transmission; television-made series and network self-made series have innovative and timeliness, copyright-made series production and distribution process unique network viral marketing, marketing topic, high-quality resource integration, extending upstream and downstream industry chain development, and promote the prosperity and development of domestic-made series market. In the face of the current obvious bottleneck of developing self-made TV series, all the domestic makers must pay high attention to the strategy and market.It is also needful to change the marketing system, enhance the professional standard of the group and create much more excellent self-made TV series.
