| With the development and progress of mobile Internet and information technology,social media is being immersed into every aspect of people’s life.However,while bringing infinite convenience,social media also generates problems such as information clutter,social risks,social congestion,etc.People are overwhelmed by the flood of information,consuming too much time and energy,and gradually causing users to become bored and escape.Loss of control and other undesirable emotional experiences,namely social media burnout,resulting in non-sustained use behavior.Therefore,the research on the factors related to social media burnout and its negative use behavior,and the appropriate suggestions and solutions are helpful to alleviate users’ burnout of social media,help enterprises optimize the user experience of social media,and use social media to carry out propaganda and other businesses,as well as the sustainable and healthy development of social media.Taking wechat moments as an analysis case,this paper builds a conceptual model of social media users’ burnout and negative use behavior based on the theory of emotional experience,the theory of "cognitive-emotion-behavioral willingness",the theory of "stress-response-outcome" and the theory of "stimulus-body-response".On this basis,a questionnaire survey was designed and a research hypothesis design scale was proposed.SPSS26.0 and AMOS were used to analyze and test the reliability,validity,regression analysis and correlation analysis of 431 valid data obtained.The experimental research shows that:information overload,social overload,hidden risks,self-immersion out of control,system function overload have significant positive effects on social media burnout emotion and behavior;Moreover,the deepening of social media burnout will further lead to negative use behaviors of social media users.The contribution of this study is mainly reflected in the establishment of a theoretical research model of social media burnout emotion,proving the role of factors significantly affecting social media burnout emotion in social media burnout emotion,and enriching relevant theoretical researches on social media burnout.It not only creates the diversity of research but also provides a new perspective for the follow-up research. |
