| The reader recommendation service of university library embodies the idea of taking readers’ needs as the center,and is an important form of building the collection resources of university library.How to realize standardized and sustainable development has become an important topic.Based on the five laws of library science,the theory of library book selection and the theory of use and satisfaction,this paper systematically investigates the development and effect of readers’ recommendation service in 100 university libraries at different levels in China,analyzes its characteristics and typical cases,finds out the existing problems and provides optimization strategies for its standardized development.The results show that the reader’s recommendation service has covered most university libraries in China,but there is still a big gap between universities at different levels,such as unclear column setting,unclear policy introduction,unclear handling principles and inadequate service publicity.Therefore,this paper puts forward specific improvement strategies from three aspects: refining service rules,improving service quality and perfecting service forms. |
