Research On Reporting Framework Of Major Topics In Local Evening News

Theme is one of the unique forms of news reports in China.It integrates news and publicity and plays an important role in guiding public opinion.China’s news media have the obligation to do a good job in reporting major topics,which will have a positive impact on the voice transmission and the actual work process of the party.Meanwhile,it is necessary for the mainstream media to strengthen the mainstream voice through news propaganda.Under the current mobile Internet communication environment,the innovative exploration of the special report business of local evening newspaper is of great value in promoting the innovative development of mainstream public opinion and propaganda business in China and further "telling Chinese stories well".In this study,the capital of Song Dynasty Evening Newspaper,one of the top ten brands of local evening newspaper in China and the first-class newspaper in Henan province,is taken as the sample database,and 189 articles/stories of theme reports(including 8 front-page headlines)of "Searching for the Grand Canal" are taken as the research objects to investigate the construction logic of the report text framework of local evening newspaper in China during the production of theme reports.At the same time,it explores the text frame construction strategy of major topic reports in local evening newspaper and the optimized communication ideas under the mobile Internet communication environment in the new period.This study adopts the research idea of combining quantitative research and qualitative research.In the stage of quantitative research,this study adopts content analysis method,and makes statistics and analysis on the sample’s reporting time and quantity distribution,reporting layout,reporting length,manuscript source,news source,reporter,reporting subject,reporting genre,reporting form,reporting tendency,etc.,and presents the basic framework of the reporting text.In the stage of qualitative research,this study takes Gamson’s "Explanatory Package" theory as the main path to implement the framework analysis,and extracts five discourse packages from the whole sample,such as "China Plan","Grand Canal Image","Regional Experience of Kaifeng Development" and "Media Responsibility",and interprets each discourse package.The analysis results are presented in the signal matrix of the unit package,and the deep and specific messages contained in each report in the research sample are defined.Through content analysis,it is found that the basic frame features of the theme report of Song Dynasty Evening Newspaper "Searching for the Grand Canal Cultural Belt" are mainly reflected in three levels:prominent frame,the material frame and the construction frame.In the framework of salience,communicators start with the time arrangement of topic reports,the number of reports published in different stages,the overall layout and the length of each report,etc.Regulate the ratio of various elements,try their best to coordinate the contradiction between the infinite news materials and the limited attention of the audience,and replace the irregular large-scale layout with regular intensive dissemination,with the overall report items showing small steps and quick updates;Control the length and optimize the depth;The characteristics of grand narration and tiny fission reflect the communicators’ precise control of the reporting rhythm and maximize the audience’s short-term attention to long-term problems.On the framework of material selection,through the selection of manuscript sources,the screening of news sources and the statistics of reporters’ reporting frequency,it is found that Song Dynasty Evening Newspaper has obvious characteristics in the production ideas of the theme report of the "Grand Canal Cultural Belt",that is,it tends to use the self-built news gathering and editing system;The ratio of independent interview sources is absolutely dominant.Pay attention to the inter-media agenda setting;Re-endorsement in authority;Journalists’ multi-perspective observation and interaction make up for the imbalance of vision.These unique representations of production ideas jointly contribute to the overall rigorous balance of news facts in the report text.The style of the text is consistent with the original cultural characteristics of the newspaper,and together they constitute the influence of news discourse.On the construction framework,through the statistical analysis of sample report themes,report genres,report forms and report tendencies,this paper examines the thinking path of communicators in organizing the construction of news text framework of special reports,and visualizes the grand themes from point to area.Multi-genre combination activates the reporting style;Two-dimensional code empowerment,building a paper media communication space;The frame features of samples,such as direct statement and evaluation of potential problems,jointly explain the communicators’ all-round thinking in the organization and construction of news materials;Trying to construct the closed-loop communication of grand narrative from the perspective of diversified text not only takes into account the abstract meaning of the topic,but also is the effective way for the media to tap the news value of the topic in the practice of news reporting,thus meeting the needs of readers.Through frame analysis,we find that the five discourse packages presented in the sample text reflect different text frames respectively.The discourse package of "China Program" reflects the news framework of "national deployment shows China’s wisdom";The image of the Grand Canal presents the news framework of "connecting the past with the future";Regional Experience presents the news framework of "China story of the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt";Kaifeng Development presents the news framework of "Kaifeng observation based on local development";Media Responsibility presents the news framework of "In media practice"Finally,in the stage of inductive analysis,this study makes theoretical speculation and induction on the basis of the results of content analysis and frame analysis,and discusses it from the perspectives of packaging identification,value-added production,media and public opinions,and concludes the rules for the construction of sample frame.At the same time,it puts forward the construction strategy of the text frame of major theme report of the local evening newspaper and the idea of optimizing communication,that is,the planning idea of "decentralization";People-oriented thinking of "beauty is strong but misery";Three new ways of thinking: "initiative breaking the circle" and integrated communication thinking.
