Currently,the Internet is scattered with massive and redundant information,and human beings need to accurately extract valuable content from the information and transform the content into effective productivity.Knowledge service as a new service form has received attention from the publishing industry,which meets people’s fragmented and personalized knowledge needs and has become an important measure for the development and transformation of publishing organizations.Professional publishing organizations have unique advantages in content resources,and the development of knowledge services is an important measure for professional publishing organizations to cope with the trend of digital transformation and enhance their core competitiveness.By studying the current situation,development background,product forms and modes of professional publishing knowledge services,we draw out the shortcomings of professional publishing knowledge services and propose corresponding optimization measures,with a view to providing useful reference for further development of knowledge services by professional publishing institutions in China.Driven by industrial attributes,driven by knowledge demand,supported by policy conditions,guaranteed by science and technology,and the rise of knowledge payment,these five factors provide publishing organizations with development momentum and advantages,and are important opportunities for professional publishing organizations to develop knowledge services.There are various types of professional publishing knowledge service products,and on the basis of sorting out knowledge service products,the product forms of professional publishing knowledge service products are roughly divided into two categories:re-processing of professional data and re-innovation of knowledge organization methods,and product form research is aided by a large number of cases.According to different service objects and characteristics of product forms,the knowledge service modes of professional publishing institutions are divided into content production mode with resource integration as the core,personalized customized services with user needs as the core,and value-added mode with industry needs as the core.Professional publishing organizations also have some problems in the process of carrying out knowledge services.The systemic and linkage between resources is insufficient,and the degree of content resource utilization needs to be strengthened;the matching degree between knowledge service product supply and users’ demands is not high,and the existing products cannot meet users’ deep-level demands;professional publishing institutions lack technical foundation and talents,and knowledge service products rely excessively on technology providers;some professional publishing institutions have low operation and publicity awareness,and knowledge service products lack effective promotion.In order to effectively solve the above problems,four optimization paths with specificity are proposed: strengthening knowledge management based on content;tapping potential demand with users as the core;accelerating development speed with technology as the guarantee;and broaden operation channels with profit for development. |
