People have no spirit,and the country has no spirit.Cultural spirit is a solid f oundation for building a cultural power.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "It is necessary to improve the spiritual height,cultural connotation and artistic val ue of works as the pursuit of literary and artistic works." In 2017,CCTV(hereinaft er referred to as CCTV)launched a series of high-quality cultural TV programs,w ith Chinese excellent culture as the carrier,aiming to inherit Chinese culture,conv ey the national spirit and build a national image.They have attracted high attentio n from the public and won unanimous praise.From the perspective of audience psychology,with the theoretical support of research fields such as communication,semiotics and rituals,we use text analysis,case analysis and other research methods to explore the national image construction strategy of CCTV cultural TV programs,discuss the specific presentation of CCTV cultural TV programs to build a national image.The audience obtain identity in the image of a shared national community with common destiny,enhance cultural identity,strengthen cultural self-confidence in the long-standing national cultural image,form correct values in the broad and profound national spiritual image,and put forward development suggestions according to the challenges and existing problems faced by CCTV cultural programs in building a national image,in order to grasp the development trend of CCTV cultural TV programs,realize the good dissemination effect of national image,help inherit Chinese culture,convey the spirit of the Chinese nation,and strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese community,and also hope to provide new ideas for the development of China.
