In the new era,China is actively building an education system for the comprehensive cultivation of moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic development,and the status of labor education has received unprecedented attention.Early childhood is the fundamental stage of human development and the key period for habit formation.Labor education is of great importance for young children to grow and develop healthily throughout their lives.As Mr.Tao Xingzhi said,"life is education," and labor is closely related to children’s life.Therefore,this study examines the current situation of education at work based on the daily activities of kindergartens,hoping to provide reference suggestions for the further development of labor education for young children.Based on the theoretical foundation of Tao Xingzhi’s ideas on labour education and Chen Heqin’s ideas on labour education for young children.In this study,the middle class of kindergarten L is chosen as the object of study and the method of case study,observation and interview is used to collect effective research data,establishes a research framework for work education in kindergarten,and conducts the study of the current situation on this basis.The five dimensions of the goals of labor education,labor education contents,labor education implementation,labor education evaluation and labor education influencing factors were used to comprehensively analyze the current situation of labor education in kindergarten’s daily life activities,and the specific contents and opinions are as follows.(1)objectives of labor education:the objectives are selected based on a combination of factors;the content of the objectives is skill-oriented.(2)content of labor education: self-service labor is not challenging;group service labor is mainly class service;manual labor focuses on children’s experience;planting and feeding labor is superficial.(3)implementation of labor education: choose open and diversified ways of implementing labor education;adopt flexible and variable methods of guiding labor education.(4)evaluation of labor education: use of positive evaluation methods;focus on evaluation of labor results;diverse evaluation subjects.(5)factors of influencing labor education: school factors and family factors.Accordingly,this study proposes countermeasures and suggestions for improving labor education in kindergarten’s daily life activities:(1)grasp the value orientation of labor education goals and pay attention to the comprehensive nurturing function.(2)enrich and improve the content of labor education to ensure children’s real experience.(3)broadening the way of implementing labor education,forming educational synergy.(4)pay attention to the process evaluation of labor education and explore multiple evaluation methods.(5)pay attention to the school and family to collaboratively promote the development of labor education.
