Kindergarten labor education is an important part of kindergarten education,and the implementation of kindergarten labor education in the form of theme activities is an important way to improve children’s labor literacy and promote the professional development of teachers.In this study,the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method were used to conduct research,and questionnaires were mainly distributed to teachers of 7 provincial and municipal demonstration kindergartens and kindergartens in Hechi and Laibin in Nanning,Guangxi to understand the overall situation of the design and implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities,a total of 303 valid questionnaires were collected,and 8 teachers in Y Park were formally interviewed to further understand the actual situation of the design and implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities.This study is divided into three parts in addition to the introduction:The first part is theoretical discussion and current situation investigation(chapters 1 and 2).Based on the embodied cognitive theory,this study attempts to explore the basic concepts and basic principles of the design and implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities from the perspective of embodied cognitive theory,and follow the goal concept of informed action and physical and mental development in terms of basic concepts.Integrate and dynamically generate content views;the approach of physical and mental participation and immersion in the situation;The evaluation concept of comprehensive pluralism and focusing on the process should follow the principles of embodiment,situationality,experience and generative in terms of basic principles.The survey data shows that kindergarten teachers attach importance to the design and implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities,and when setting goals,teachers pay attention to the cultivation of children’s self-care ability,but the goal setting promotes the mind and body,separates the body and mind,and has a tendency to become embodimented.In terms of content selection,it is mainly based on daily life labor,but the content is fragmented,monotonous and lacks integration;In terms of implementation methods,teachers will use a variety of ways to implement,but the implementation is formal,leaving the body,lacking work and childbirth,and the implementation environment is relatively closed,the site is limited,and the children’s body is limited;In terms of evaluation methods,teachers attach importance to process evaluation.Although the current implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities has achieved certain results,there are also some shortcomings.Based on this,this study attempts to design and implement kindergarten labor education theme activities based on embodied cognitive theory,hoping to achieve some results.The second part is programme design,practical exploration and effectiveness evaluation(chapters 3 and 4).This study takes "Labor Tools Help Growth" as the first-level theme,and designs three second-level themes of "Labor Tools First Experience" for small classes,"I Know Labor Tools I Know" for middle classes,and "Labor Tools I Will Use" for large classes,and three third-level themes are designed under each second-level theme,a total of 9 third-level themes.Through practice,it has promoted the improvement of children’s labor literacy,teachers’ labor education literacy,and researchers’ theoretical and practical ability of labor education.The third part is the conclusions of the study and educational recommendations(chapter 5).Through the design and implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities from the perspective of embodied cognitive theory,it is found that theme activities are an effective form of kindergarten labor education implementation.Embodied cognition is the guiding theory of kindergarten labor education theme activities;Content integration is an important principle in the design of kindergarten labor education theme activities;Being in the environment is an effective way to implement the theme activities of kindergarten labor education.It is recommended to take early childhood as the foundation and establish the goal concept of physical and mental integration labor education;Integrate experience and coordinate the design of concrete labor education content;Constructing contexts and providing a hands-on labor education environment;Comprehensive evaluation,pay attention to the physical and mental development of children’s labor practice to optimize the implementation of kindergarten labor education theme activities,and promote the high-quality development of kindergarten labor education. |
