| General Secretary Xi stressed repeatedly that we should follow the socialist road of rule of law with Chinese characteristics,step up the construction of relevant systems and policies and build China into a socialist country based on the rule of law.The building of the law-based country is on the premise of the improvement of people’s consciousness of rule of law,among which the cultivation of teenagers are of great significance.For the promotion of students’ consciousness of rule of law and the development of law-based society,it is very important to put into full play the major effects of moral and legal education in junior high schools.This article sorts out the researches literature both at home and abroad in a systematic way,giving basic definitions of related concepts such as “rule of law”,“consciousness of rule of law”,and “cultivation of legal consciousness” in Morality and Law in junior high schools.During the investigation in the school where I worked as an intern,I saw the good phenomenon in which the cultivation of legal consciousness were emphasized in junior high school education.Meanwhile,I also found several existing problems such as the objective of class teaching focus on law knowledge,the failure to take advantage of the leading role of rule of law and to regard students as the subjects of classes,and the neglect of the criticism and the spurs to the consciousness of students.In view of these problems,improvement measures in four aspects,namely,cultivation objects,cultivation content,cultivation methods and cultivation evaluation systems,are put forward in this article.In terms of the objects,it aims to improve teachers’ consciousness of rule of law in an all-round way,change their concepts and implement the requirements of classes,and adhere to the “three in one” overall planning;as for content,it require us to figure out the focus of the cultivation of consciousness with textbooks as the foothold,and combine the extracurricular resources to identify the consciousness of rule of law;as regards methods,we should strengthen students’ cognition of rule of law through classic cases,flourish their consciousness by the means of creating situations,promote their thinking through the exploration of teaching methods,consolidate their faith to rule of law in debate activities;in the respect of evaluation systems,we propose to establish diversified evaluation subjects,make use of various evaluation methods,emphasize and give play to the role of evaluation results.To promote the education of rule of law for teenagers in a practical way and form a new teaching pattern,this article is based on the fundamental theories,set the students in junior high school as research objects,and combine the curriculum with textbooks and the actual conditions of students.It focuses on the significant role of lessons of Morality and Law in the cultivation of junior high school students,foster their consciousness of rule of law and lay a solid foundation for the practice of rule of law. |
