Reaserch On The Cultivation Of Pupils’ Consciousness Of Rule Of Law

Following the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee’s proposal to incorporate rule of law education into the national education system,in September 2017,the textbook "Morality and the Rule of Law" compiled by the Ministry of Education was widely promoted in primary and secondary schools.The new version of the textbook has changed the old version of the single-line teaching mode,which focuses on moral education,into the double-line teaching of moral education and legal education,which elevates the legal education to an unprecedented new height.The cultivation of rule of law consciousness,as one of the ultimate goals of the practice of rule of law education,is not only the basic means to improve citizens’ rule of law quality,but also an important basis for realizing the rule of law.As the first group of objects cultivated by compulsory education in China,primary school students are in a critical period of development in terms of cognitive level and psychological characteristics.So the pupils of the rule of law consciousness cultivation,for promoting the healthy and comprehensive development of primary school students,realize socialist country under the rule of law construction is of great significance.This article launches the research from the perspective of the rule of law consciousness,the concise rule of law,the rule of law consciousness cultivation,on the basis of related concepts,such as "morality and the rule of law" since primary school curriculum to cultivate students consciousness of rule of law present situation,the school curriculum situation,the family of the rule of law education situation three dimensions,Based on the investigation and analysis of two primary schools in Jinfeng District and Xixia District of Yinchuan City,the current situation of the cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law based on the course "Morality and the rule of law",combined with the results of parents’ questionnaire survey,the paper analyzes and puts forward the specific path of the cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law.Through the investigation,it is found that although the primary school students have already had the basic legal cognition and legal awareness,there are still different problems in school,family,society and students themselves.Through searching for problems and attribution analysis,it is suggested to cultivate students’ awareness of the rule of law from four aspects,namely,enhancing school education of the rule of law,creating family atmosphere of the rule of law,purifying social environment of the rule of law and enhancing students’ interest in learning.It is proposed that the three education subjects of school,family and society should have a definite target according to their different environments while forming linkage effects.Finally,the resultant effect of the cultivation of primary school students’ awareness of the rule of law will be formed,which will lay the foundation for the cultivation of new people and the construction of a socialist country ruled by law.
