A grain of dust of the times is a mountain when it falls on an individual’s head.On July 24,2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued "Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Off-Campus Training for Students in Compulsory Education"(hereinafter referred to as "double reduction"),which is a comprehensive and in-depth regulation of off-campus training through strict measures such as "conversion of business to non-business",strict prohibition of capitalization, and strict prohibition of taking rest days and summer and winter vacations to organize subject training.Since then, the training market has cooled down considerably, advertising has basically disappeared, capital has been withdrawn, and the phenomenon of barbaric growth has been effectively controlled. The thunderous action demonstrates the country’s determination to strictly control. And with124,000 out-of-school training institutions such as New Oriental and TAL shutting down their business, seeking transformation, and even facing closure,it is the tide of unemployment caused by the capsizing of the industry. When the industry is in turmoil even livelihood has become a problem, the past aura of off-campus training practitioners has long been gone.Perhaps many people will pay attention to Yu Minhong, who started selling goods in Tik Tok when the market value of New Oriental fell by 90%,but there are millions of off-campus training practitioners who have not been seen.In this storm, what have they experienced? This graduation project will be presented in the form of an in-depth report.Focusing on the practitioners of off-campus training under the "double reduction" policy and their fate in the tide of the times. We also try to present a representative image of off-campus training practitioners, and to understand the state of life and spiritual power of individuals under the irreversible difficulties. At the same time, through the fate and choices of the individuals,we consider the necessity of the "double reduction" policy and the problems in its formulation and implementation from a new perspective, and explore whether the policy should have a warmth,so as to further draw the attention of the government and the public to the group of off-campus training practitioners. |
