| Article 19 of the newly revised Vocational Education Law of the People’s Republic of China in 2022 clearly states that primary and secondary schools need to increase the teaching content related to vocational education to carry out vocational enlightenment and vocational experience,which officially establishes the important position of vocational enlightenment education in the form of law for the first time.Vocational enlightenment education plays an important role in promoting students’ vocational cognition,self-cognition and future career planning.The development of vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools promotes the acquisition of vocational knowledge,the establishment of vocational concepts and the understanding of their own characteristics of rural primary school students,which is conducive to the development of students’ career.By collating domestic and foreign literature on vocational enlightenment education,this study discusses the historical context and development of vocational enlightenment education research,so as to provide experience for subsequent research.With the qualitative research method,D Primary School in Z City as the field investigation object,in-depth interviews were conducted with school administrators,teachers and parents,and real data were collected by combining classroom observation.The grounded theory is used to sort out the interview data,present the reality of the vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools,dig out the factors affecting the vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools,and then put forward the strategies to improve the vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools.Firstly,through the investigation of the current situation of rural D primary school,the teaching experience of sample schools in the process of vocational enlightenment education is summarized.The effective experience of vocational enlightenment education in sample schools mainly includes four aspects: clear division of training objectives,reaching consensus on educational ideas,school principals attaching importance to development and diversified teaching implementation.At the same time,the difficulties facing the development of vocational enlightenment education in sample schools are mainly reflected in the lack of overall planning of education implementation.Lack of high-level guidance for development;The construction of teachers lacks three aspects of professional training.Secondly,the effective development of vocational enlightenment education objectively requires the participation of multiple subjects.Through the coding analysis of the interview data of sample primary schools,the reasons affecting the effective development of vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools are summarized.It is mainly reflected in the following aspects: First,in the concept of teachers,vocational enlightenment education and professional development are separated,resulting in the lack of teaching power of teachers;The research team solidifies,separating theory from practice.Second,in the family environment,parents attach importance to academic achievement,but ignore career expectations;The deviation of education mode,ignoring the establishment of professional concept;Strict work system,difficult to cooperate with school activities.Third,in school management,teaching content design ignores the value of local knowledge education;The curriculum practice design is fuzzy and lacks concrete planning.Evaluation model quantifies results and ignores procedural evaluation.Fourthly,in terms of social support,the depth of enlightenment education of social resource service profession is insufficient.Vocational colleges lack the degree of vocational enlightenment education.Finally,the author puts forward the promotion strategy for carrying out vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools.The details are as follows: first,teachers should base on development to realize the combination of research and practice;Second,parents should change their perspective and realize home-school co-parenting.Third,the school needs overall management,overall design of curriculum and teacher responsibility allocation;Fourth,community and vocational colleges provide resources to serve vocational enlightenment education.In short,this paper aims to discuss the importance of carrying out vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools through theoretical exploration and qualitative analysis of vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools.Combined with survey data,this paper summarizes the practical experience of sample primary schools,excavates the existing practical problems and reasons for its development,and proposes improvement strategies on this basis.It provides reference for future research on vocational enlightenment education in rural primary schools. |
