| Under the Under the background of the decisive victory in the battle against poverty,the education cause of Dege County in western Sichuan has been developing rapidly,and the sports cause of its rural schools has also ushered in the opportunity of rapid development.As an important part of education,school physical education plays an increasingly important role.In order to seize this rare opportunity of development,Dege County must build a high quality sports teachers team.Scholars rarely pay attention to the physical education teachers in rural primary schools in Tibetan areas.Based on the author’s teaching and research experience in rural primary schools in western Sichuan,this study deeply explores the current situation,problems and causes of physical education teachers in local rural primary schools,providing data support and theoretical basis for improving the physical education work in rural primary schools in western Sichuan.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,field survey and expert interview,this study conducted a comprehensive investigation on the physical education teachers of rural primary schools in Dege County from the perspectives of age,educational background,professional title,class hours,language proficiency,professional background,part-time position and qualification certificate.The conclusions are as follows.General situation.1.Positive aspects: The in-service education of PE teachers has been significantly improved,the personal development of PE teachers is prominent,the title structure model of PE teachers is relatively reasonable,the youth of PE teachers brings infinite possibilities and vitality,and the popularization rate of Mandarin is relatively high in the classroom.2.Existing problems: the overall allocation of full-time physical education teachers is insufficient,the overall quality of physical education teachers needs to be improved,and the phenomenon of teaching non-learning and large class hours is relatively common.cause analysis.Combining questionnaire analysis,field investigation and interview,the causes of teachers’ problems in rural primary schools in this county include external factors and internal factors.From the perspective of external factors,1.In terms of policy implementation,sports funds are insufficient;There is a big difference between PE teachers in and out of the establishment.The concept of recruitment affects the stability of PE teachers;The inadequacy of treatment restricts the enthusiasm of PE teachers.2.In terms of social identity,PE teachers lack a broad sense of social identity in a certain area;Parents’ cognition of physical education in the region is not enough;Students’ professional concept has a great impact on PE teachers.3.In terms of geographical environment,the county is remote,the altitude is relatively high,the living conditions are poor,the transportation is inconvenient,the environmental conditions to attract physical education teachers are lacking,the language is mixed,and the enthusiasm of teachers in physical education teaching is discouraged.Third,countermeasures and suggestions.In view of the above problems and reasons,suggestions are as follows: 1.Strengthen the implementation of national policies and the adjustment of regional policies.The main measures will be to implement special regional regulations on education and establish a sound mechanism for the bottom-line allocation of education funds.2.Protect the welfare of PE teachers.The main measures are to ensure the current wage and welfare benefits while reducing the gap between "establishment" and "non-establishment" treatment.The government takes the lead in issuing regulations on the protection of teachers and staff.Schools provide relatively professional growth environment for teachers,build "ideal" schools for teachers to attract long-term volunteer teaching of normal school students,optimize the performance payment mechanism,and stimulate the drive of physical education teachers.3.Focus on training teachers for the new era.Physical education teachers should consciously enhance the political consciousness of teachers in the new era and strengthen the educational ideal;It has actively changed from "non-physical education major" to "physical education major",and set up lofty ideals and beliefs for local students to contribute to the development of physical education in their hometown since childhood.Strive to smooth the transformation channels of training college students majoring in physical education to physical education teachers.The recruitment of physical education teachers follows the principle of "de-normalization",incline to physical education teachers from the Angle of recruitment,select according to demand;Establish a scientific school management system and reduce the turnover rate of teachers. |
