Labor is the foundation of human survival and development,and is an important component of comprehensive development education.Labor education can,to a certain extent,strengthen the physique of students,cultivate their correct labor values and their creative abilities.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party and the country have also begun to attach importance to the positive impact of contemporary labor education on the growth of young people,and have promulgated many policies related to labor education,such as the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools.Primary schools in China have gradually begun to attach importance to student labor education and further improve labor education in basic education.In recent years,many schools have achieved certain results and experience in carrying out labor education in combination with their own characteristics.At the same time,some regions with relatively backward educational development still have the problem of weakening and marginalizing labor education.Currently,only by insight into the shortcomings of labor education and making up for the shortcomings of labor education one by one can we improve the modern education system and promote the comprehensive development of students.The purpose of this study is to analyze the current problems in labor education in four primary schools in Kunming City,Yunnan Province,and propose corresponding solutions based on a field survey of the implementation of labor education in four primary schools in Kunming City.In order to improve the status quo of labor education in urban primary schools,which has been marginalized,we call on all sectors of society to pay attention to labor education in urban primary schools,laying a foundation for further improving the level of labor education in urban primary schools at this stage.During the research process,this paper used literature,observation,questionnaire,and interview methods to select some teachers and some students from four urban primary schools in Kunming City as the subjects of interviews and questionnaire surveys.During the research process,relatively rich and detailed first-hand information was collected.During the research process,through a questionnaire survey,it was found that the current situation of labor education in four urban primary schools in Kunming can be reflected in three aspects:(1)analysis of the current situation of students receiving labor education;(2)The current situation of the implementation of school labor education;(3)The current situation of labor education security conditions.At the same time,after analyzing the results of questionnaires and interviews,it was found that there were the following problems in the process of labor education in four urban primary schools in Kunming:(1)insufficient awareness of labor education among school teachers;(2)The problem of low labor literacy among senior primary school students;(3)The single content,form,and approach of labor education;(4)The lack of standards in the evaluation of labor education;(5)The lack of effective guarantees for labor education.In response to the above issues,this article proposes countermeasures from the levels of various education subjects,students,school labor education management,and government.In view of the problems existing in labor education in the four urban primary schools in Kunming,this article proposes that each education subject correctly understand the educational value of labor education;Primary school students’ labor main body moves from passive acceptance to active experience;Strengthen the work related to school labor education management;The government’s work promotes the steady development of labor education and other promotion strategies,providing a certain reference for the steady development of labor education.
