Labor education is an important part of China’s education system and plays an important role in the all-round development of students.In March 2020,the CPC Central Committee issued "opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening labor education in primary,middle and primary schools in the new era",which clearly put forward: in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,China should strengthen labor education in primary,middle and primary schools,so as to improve the quality of education and teaching in an all-round way;and it has made important guidelines for carrying out labor education in the new era,and China needs to strive to build a moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor education system The education system of "five educations" should be developed at the same time,so as to achieve a higher level of training objectives.Primary school is the key stage to lay a good foundation.It is particularly important to effectively carry out labor education in primary school,which can lay the foundation for building a high-level labor education system in the new era.According to the existing literature analysis,there are differences in the implementation status and problems of labor education between urban and rural primary schools.Therefore,to carry out empirical research on labor education in urban primary schools can ensure the pertinence of the research.Strengthening labor education in urban primary schools aims to improve the comprehensive quality of primary school students,promote their healthy growth and all-round development,and cultivate builders and successors in line with the new era of socialism.For a long time,various regions and schools have achieved certain results,but in the process of implementation,labor education is still diluted and marginalized,which hinders or delays the realization of the goal of labor education.Therefore,based on the empirical research of urban primary schools,guided by the existing problems of labor education in urban primary schools,this paper tries to actively explore the effective implementation countermeasures of labor education in urban primary schools on the basis of understanding and mastering the current situation and problems of labor education in urban primary schools,so as to promote the effective development of labor education in urban primary schools.Through questionnaire survey,interview and field investigation,this paper investigates the implementation of labor education in four primary schools in X city.Starting from the connotation and value of labor education in primary schools,this paper summarizes and analyzes the implementation process of labor education in primary schools in X city,which shows that there are some deviations in the cognitive concept of labor education,the curriculum construction of labor education is not good,the teacher allocation of labor education is relatively weak,the curriculum resources of labor education are relatively scarce,the evaluation system of labor education needs to be improved and the problems of labor education need to be solved It also puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.From the aspects of rectifying the cognitive concept of labor education,improving the curriculum construction of labor education,strengthening the teacher allocation of labor education,expanding the curriculum resources of labor education,improving the evaluation system of labor education,and improving the security mechanism of labor education,we can improve the effectiveness of the implementation of labor education in urban primary schools,and promote the improvement of primary school students’ labor literacy and the formation of correct labor values.
