Research On The Construction Of China’s National Image Through Traditional Chinese Sports

National image is the embodiment of comprehensive national strength and an important factor in enhancing the discourse power of globalization and the ability to manage international affairs.The Party and the state attach great importance to the national image and international communication work,and have formulated the strategic policy of comprehensively strengthening the management and construction of China’s national image.As a cluster element,traditional sports of the Chinese nation are not only the carrier of Chinese culture,but also an important carrier for the world to understand the real and three-dimensional image of China.Based on the theories of sports science,journalism and communication and other related disciplines,this study takes the traditional sports of the Chinese nation to build China’s national image as the research object,and uses the literature research method,historical analysis method and corpus analysis method to discuss the basic interpretation of the national image,the actual situation and influencing factors of China’s national image,the practical basis of traditional sports of the Chinese nation to build China’s national image,and the practical path of traditional sports of the Chinese nation to build China’s national image.The research aims to deepen the theoretical and practical research of traditional sports of the Chinese nation,promote the construction of the discourse system of traditional sports of the Chinese nation,and broaden the channels for cross-cultural dissemination of traditional sports of the Chinese nation.In order to enrich the practical cases of China’s national image,and build a multi-dimensional image of China such as a civilized power,a responsible power,a socialist country and an eastern power,it provides sports thinking.To this end,this study puts forward the following suggestions: first,attach importance to the work of cultural symbols,explore and display the profound humanistic values and aesthetic connotations carried by traditional sports of the Chinese nation,and enhance China’s cultural soft power and international influence;The second is to attach importance to ideological work,adhere to the core values of socialism,resist the impact and erosion of Western competitive sports,reverse the deficit in the spread of China’s national image,and establish the theory and practice of socialist sports with Chinese characteristics;The third is to attach importance to the practice of discourse,actively participate in international sports exchanges and cooperation,use Chinese voices and Chinese stories to tell China’s sports development achievements and contributions,enhance Chinese cultural self-confidence and cultural consciousness,and enhance China’s discourse power on the international sports stage;Fourth,attach importance to the use of resources and give full play to the macro-control role of state actors.
