Research On Involving Casework In Helping And Educating Criminally Involved Minors

Minors are the hope of the country,and each of citizens should try his best to protect and guide the healthy growth of minors around him.With the transformation of social structure and the rapid development of the social economy,the problem of juvenile delinquency has not decreased but increased,which has attracted extensive attention of the society.Judicial assistance and education provide targeted corrective service to minors who meet the "conditional non-prosecution",helping them return to their normal life and achieve the goal of reducing or even eliminating the possibility of recidivism.However,with the change of times,the limitations of traditional judicial work are gradually becoming apparent,and more social forces need to be involved urgently.The existing research results have proved that in the help and education of juveniles involved in crimes,social work can achieve a positive effect greater than the sum of its parts in cooperation with the judicial system.This paper takes the work of help and education of juveniles involved in crime as the research object,and takes case analysis as the main method,and puts forward some suggestions on the development of judicial social work for juveniles through analyzing the current status of judicial social work for juveniles.This paper consists of three parts,four chapters in total.The first part includes the first chapter and the second chapter,which is divided into the stage of research preparation,the author consulted and collected relevant data,clarified the research background,determined the research design,analyzed the group characteristics of juveniles involved in crime,and discussed the advantages of professional social work services involved in helping and teaching juveniles involved in crime.The third chapter is the second part of this paper,which is the main content of the research.Relying on the platform of social work organizations,a juvenile involved in crime in S City who meets the requirements of conditional non-prosecution is selected as the object of help and education service,and presenting the correctional help and education practice provided by judicial social workers for the juvenile involved in crime.First,after establishing a good professional relationship with the client,the social worker understands the basic situation of the client from an ecological perspective and analyzes the causes of his criminal behavior.Secondly,social workers use professional social work methods to guide clients to change their irrational cognition,correct their unreasonable behaviors and enhance the support of the ecosystem of the clients.Finally,the social workers are committed to consolidating the service effect and helping the patients get out of the dilemma completely,so that they can return to normal life and strive for a better future.The fourth chapter is the third part of this paper,which is also the conclusion of this paper.The author puts forward some suggestions for the development of juvenile judicial social work with summary and reconsideration on the case work.This paper draws the following conclusions through individual case intervention.First,the ecosystem theory provides clear ideas and theoretical support for the social investigation of juveniles involved in crime.Secondly,cognitive-behavioral therapy can play an important role in the correction and teaching of juveniles involved in crimes.According to the needs of the clients,it can accurately help the clients to adjust their bad self-cognition and self-behavior.Thirdly,the intervention of social work in the education and help of juveniles involved in crime has its own advantages especially the case social work,which can achieve effective results.
