A Case Study On The Enhancement Of Self-efficacy Of Juveniles Involved In Crime

Juveniles involved in crimes have become the focus of general attention of the society.After being found committing crimes,this group often produces confusion,helplessness,panic and other psychology,and loses confidence.However,the deterrence and coercion of the judicial system make it difficult for them to carry out deep contact and help to juveniles involved in crimes,so the intervention of social work has become an urgent need.For this group,many scholars at home and abroad have conducted research and analysis,but there are few practical studies on the improvement of self-efficacy of juveniles involved in crimes as a case,so this paper chooses this topic.This study adopts the research method of combining quantitative and qualitative research,data collection method of interview and participatory observation,and evaluation method based on pretest and post-test comparison.In the research,it is assessed that the needs of the service objects mainly include improving self-confidence,making good self-planning,regulating emotions,learning self-control,improving environmental system,linking social support network,etc.Both involve increased self-efficacy.According to the available data,the service plan is designed around the five factors of the formation and influence of self-efficacy.Through the intervention of researchers,the intervention activities have achieved positive results and the self-efficacy of the service objects has been significantly improved.In the summary and reflection stage,the researchers draw the conclusion that the method of case work can be used to improve the self-efficacy of juveniles involved in crime,and the five efficacy information affecting the formation and development of self-efficacy is conducive to the improvement of self-efficacy,and reflect on the practice and research done,and finally put forward practical suggestions for related fields: In practice,we can pay attention to the establishment of the client’s confidence and the enhancement of self-efficacy.In practice,service should be carried out comprehensively and systematic service should be constructed.Judicial social work practice should be neutral and free from compulsion.This study is a systematic analysis of a complete case help and education service,which has application value and academic value,and can provide a perspective and path for case help and education in judicial social work.
