Along with the release of the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China and Vision 2035 and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Promotion of Family Education,home-school collaboration is receiving more and more attention.However,the quality of the implementation of home-school cooperation is not high,and alienation phenomena such as the schoolization of home education and the familyization of school education have occurred.The emergence of these alienation phenomena is mainly due to insufficient research on home-school collaboration,which has led to outstanding problems such as the lack of clarity in the positioning of responsibilities and the lack of a sound mechanism for collaboration.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance for to form a consensus on home-school co-education,actively learn the skills of co-education,and promote the formation of a new pattern of home-school co-education,so as to cultivate socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and social development.On the basis of combing domestic and international research results and defining the concept of home-school collaboration,this study randomly selected parents and teachers in S Primary School in Jiangmen City,Guangdong Province,and analyzed the current situation of home-school collaboration in terms of the perceptions of both home and school parties about home-school collaboration,the frequency,contents,channels and effects of home-school collaboration and the use of community resources,and specifically analyzed that the main reasons for the problems were The main reasons for the problems are the lack of scientific and comprehensive understanding of home-school collaboration between home and school,the lack of teachers’ ability to provide guidance on home-school education,the complexity of students’ family situations,the utilitarian social atmosphere,the promotion of educational anxiety by teaching and accompanying organisations,the lack of attention to the use of community resources by schools and families,and the lack of a comprehensive evaluation system for home-school collaboration.The ultimate goal is to achieve the all-round development of students by strengthening awareness and clarifying responsibilities,focusing on training and improving capacity,forming a consensus and clarifying goals,widening channels and enhancing effectiveness,and integrating resources to meet needs.
