Aesthetic education,also known as aesthetic education and emotional education,mainly refers to the principle of aesthetics,through the organization of relevant practical activities to improve people’s aesthetic quality,purify people’s mind,cultivate their ability to create beauty,and ultimately achieve the purpose of edifying noble sentiments,which is an important component of the comprehensive development of education,but also a major demand for improving the quality of the Chinese people.At present,the aesthetic education in primary schools in most rural areas has always been in the edge of the curriculum or lacking.In order to strengthen the emphasis on aesthetic education in rural primary school and improve the aesthetic education quality of rural primary school students,we should conduct some exploration on this problem,so as to seek solutions.As discussed in the ecosystem theory of Bronfenbrenner,the micro-environment affecting the development of primary school students mainly lies in the family and school,that is,the main influences are parents,peers and teachers.Therefore,the growth and development of primary school students are affected by both family and school,and the development of their aesthetic education also needs the joint efforts of family and school.The author conducted some investigations on the current implementation process and results of aesthetic education in three rural primary schools in Y County,Yunnan Province.During the investigation,it was found that there were many problems in the implementation of aesthetic education in rural primary schools,such as the lack of teachers,the shortage of resources,the separation of aesthetic education theory from aesthetic education practice,the lack of systematic and specific aesthetic education evaluation system and so on.The author undertakes the reason analysis based on these problems.It is found that the disunity of parents’ and teachers’ cognition of the value of aesthetic education,the inadequate development of rural aesthetic education resources,the shortage of teachers in rural schools,and the neglect of parents’ and teachers’ aesthetic education practice hinder the improvement of rural primary school students’ aesthetic quality ability.Therefore,first of all,we should change parents’ traditional concept of "exam-oriented education",strengthen parents’ and teachers’ correct cognition of the value of aesthetic education,ensure the funds and venues for the implementation of aesthetic education activities through various effective ways,and the school should also develop special aesthetic education resources through various channels to establish scientific aesthetic education courses with our own characteristics.Finally,we will cooperate with parents to establish a scientific and unified aesthetic education evaluation system to better cultivate the aesthetic ability and aesthetic creation ability of rural primary school students,promote the development of aesthetic education in rural primary schools,and cultivate all-round talents.The author divides this paper into five parts:One is the introduction.This part mainly includes the reason of topic selection,research question,purpose,meaning and content,,the definition of related concepts,relevant literature,research methods and ideas,innovation and theoretical basis.The second is about the overview of home school collaborative aesthetic education.The third is the investigation and empirical analysis of the current situation of home-school cooperative operation in rural primary schools.Fourthly,from the perspective of multiple educational subjects,it analyzes the problems and specific reasons in the operation process of home-school collaborative aesthetic education.Fifth,according to the causes of the problems and the particularity of aesthetic education,optimization strategies are proposed to improve the quality of home-school collaborative aesthetic education in rural primary schools.
