The "Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)" proposes the "three skills",namely,"being able to observe the world with a mathematical perspective","being able to think about the real world with mathematical thinking",and "being able to express the real world with mathematical language"."Geometric intuition" is an important expression of the "mathematical eye",which is a basic accomplishment of junior high school students,and interpreting the new curriculum standards,The author finds that cultivating students’ geometric intuitive literacy is one of the important goals in mathematics teaching process,and also one of the important directions to improve students’ core mathematical literacy.Hua Luogeng,a famous mathematician in China,once said,"It is difficult to be subtle when numbers are missing,while it is less intuitive when numbers are missing." Jiang Wenwei also pointed out,"Geometric intuition is a kind of thinking activity,a psychological state in which the human brain directly recognizes or guesses objective things and their relationships." As a first-line teacher,in daily teaching,it has been found that junior high school students appear at a loss when faced with more complex mathematical problems,and do not know how to solve them.When solving problems,students rarely think from the perspective of "shape",fail to appreciate the convenience brought by intuitive graphics for understanding problems and seeking solutions,and seem to lack the method and ability to simplify complexity.With geometric intuition,students can understand and accept abstract content and methods.Therefore,teachers need to cultivate students’ geometric intuitive literacy,which is also the issue to be studied in this article.Focusing on this issue,the author has studied the core concepts of geometric intuition and existing literature,and determined research ideas and methods.The author has conducted research from the following aspects: First,the connotation of geometric intuition has been clarified,and the main applications of geometric intuition in junior high school mathematics have been determined.Secondly,based on the main application of geometric intuition,a test paper was set up to investigate the current situation of junior high school students’ geometric intuition ability,and to understand the current situation of junior high school students’ geometric intuition ability.Thirdly,according to the current situation of students,the author has conducted a research on teaching methods to cultivate students’ geometric intuitive literacy,and obtained teaching strategies to cultivate students’ geometric intuitive literacy,namely,using graphic exploration,strengthening graphic accumulation,through reasonable conjectures,focusing on intuitive demonstration,and other aspects.Fourth,on this basis,the author conducted a teaching practice to cultivate students’ geometric intuitive core literacy.Through tracking the classroom performance,interview records,and performance records of the classes taught,the author preliminarily verified the correctness of the research direction and the effectiveness of the proposed teaching strategies,and formed mathematics teaching methods and strategies suitable for the level of students in the teaching school.In this process,I have improved my scientific research ability and teaching level.
