| With the advent of digital society,geometric intuition plays an increasingly prominent ro le in citizens’ basic literacy,and geometric intuition ability is an important part of mathematic al literacy and one of the core abilities of mathematics discipline.In 2022,Compulsory Educa tion Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)was promulgated,and its overall revis ion idea is to strengthen geometric intuition and algebraic reasoning.In the process of learnin g mathematics,it is very important to cultivate students’ geometric intuitive ability,but this ab ility is not achieved overnight,but gradually developed and cultivated in long-term mathemati cs learning.Primary school mathematics focuses on laying the foundation of mathematics.Six th grade is the last year of primary school,as the connection between primary school and juni or high school,students’ geometric intuitive ability has attracted much attention.It has becom e a hot topic for scholars to study.According to the needs of the current research and referring to the previous scholars’ research and the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 edition),the students’ geometric intuitive ability is divided into three levels.After listening to the guidance of teachers inside and outside the school and teachers in practice units,the students’ geometric intuitive ability test questions suitable for the sixth grade students are prepared,and163 test papers are distributed through random cluster sampling.To understand the development status of sixth grade students’ geometric intuitive ability of X primary school students in J City,and on this basis to put forward the education and teaching strategies to adapt to their development characteristics.The results are as follows: Compared with graphic intuition and surrogate intuition,students have the strongest ability to use simple symbol intuition;Weak ability to use graphics to describe and analyze problems but strong ability to solve problems;There was no gender difference overall.Based on the analysis of the data,the following targeted strategies are proposed:according to the teaching content,flexibly select the intuitive form;Carry out in-depth teaching research,exchange and discuss teaching skills;Strengthen professional study,improve geometric visual quality;Encourage hands-on operation,the operation process intuitive feeling. |
