This study takes the reverse teaching Design of Chinese ancient poetry large units in junior high school based on UbD concept(Understanding by Design)as the research object.Through the analysis of UbD concept and its core elements "reverse teaching design","understanding" and "theme of large units",Explore the program and content of reverse teaching design of Chinese ancient poetry large unit in junior high school.The reverse teaching design of Chinese ancient poetry large unit based on UbD concept is different from the traditional forward teaching design mode.The two have great differences in teaching concept,design program and content system.The key of reverse instructional design lies in the instructional design based on the results-oriented theory centering on the design concept,key issues and design stage.The teaching objectives and concepts are more clear,and the instructional design and organizational implementation process is closer to students’ learning demands and development rules,which conforms to the current trend of educational and teaching reform and the requirements of new curriculum standards.This research is committed to analyzing the advantages of reverse instructional design based on UbD concept through theory and practice,summarizing and refining the basic paradigm and typical lesson examples of reverse instructional design of large units of Chinese ancient poetry in junior high school,and making generalization and promotion,so as to apply them to more large units of Chinese ancient poetry teaching design,and even other large units of teaching design,and forming typical teaching experience.Thus,it can provide effective reference and reference for front-line education and teaching,and truly embody "teaching for understanding".This study firstly investigates the current teaching status of ancient poetry in junior middle school Chinese classroom,analyzes and feedback the current teaching content and organizational form of ancient poetry with objective data,timely introduces the concept of "UbD",and tries to implement the concept and method of reverse teaching design in education and teaching practice.This study from the three stages of reverse teaching design to promote teaching design work steadily and orderly.Stage 1: Identify expected learning outcomes;Stage 2: Identify appropriate assessment evidence;Stage 3:Design learning experience activities.Reverse instructional design emphasizes that classes,units and courses should logically be derived from the desired final learning outcome and run backwards to the state where students start class.Starting from the end and guided by the learning objectives and results to be achieved,the teaching activities are designed to change the teaching research from the traditional experience-based type to the empirical type,and the teaching from "knowledge-based" to "core literacy based".In the initial lesson,the teacher guides the students to predict the main idea first,and then runs the teaching process backwards from the final result.First reading text-gist prediction;Explore the text--appreciate the poetry of light;Focus on details-study the meaning of the article;Theme deepening--reading and understanding emotion;Contrast perception-Intensive reading of the subject.The five links finally summarize and extract the main theme emotion of the large unit,and the end confirms the prediction of the main theme emotion of the beginning class.Beginning with the end,the teaching links are interlinked,and finally it comes back to the answer to the main theme emotion to solve the core problem of the teaching of ancient poetry.The teaching process presents a complete loop of "full chain" structure.At the same time,the reverse teaching design based on the concept of UbD reflects the trend of organizing teaching in large units,and will also point out the direction for the compilation and integration of junior middle school Chinese textbooks and courses.This study concludes that UbD is an advanced teaching design idea and procedure for Chinese ancient poetry teaching in junior high school.It can stimulate students’ interest in learning ancient poetry,respect students’ dominant position in class,and finally point to the improvement of students’ core literacy.
