With the continuous promotion of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the demands on education are getting higher and higher,and more and more scholars are exploring the new teaching model-the big unit.However,there are still some problems in the implementation of the Big Unit concept in front-line teaching.This article will take the teaching of ancient poetry under the concept of large unit as an example to analyze the necessity of applying the concept of large unit to high school ancient poetry teaching,and the principles to be followed when applying the Big Unit concept to teaching ancient poetry in high school,and how to use the Big Unit concept to implement ideas and ways to teach ancient poetry in high school.The article is divided into three parts: the introduction,the body and the conclusion.The introductory part clarifies the background and significance of the study,and provides a literature review from both domestic and international studies,with a focus on domestic studies in three aspects,namely,large-unit teaching,teaching ancient poetry in high school,and teaching ancient poetry in high school under the large-unit concept.An introduction to the research methodology and innovations is also given.The main part first defines the concepts related to the teaching of ancient poetry under the large-unit concept through the literature research method,puts forward the theoretical basis of the article’s research,and elaborates on the value of teaching ancient poetry in high school under the large-unit concept,laying the foundation for the analytical research in the next two chapters.Secondly,through interviews with teachers and observation of lessons during the internship,we understand the current problems in teaching ancient poetry and apply relevant theories to attribute and analyse the problems,so as to provide a fulcrum for the research in the next chapter.Finally,on the basis of the previous study,the teaching suggestions of ancient poetry in high school under the concept of large units are sorted out by combining relevant cases,integrating unit contents and refining unit themes;creating students as the main body and clarifying teaching objectives;creating authentic situations and enhancing learning interests;constructing learning scaffolds and carrying out teaching activities;and attaching importance to the learning process and bringing into play the function of evaluation.The concluding section provides a brief summary of the article.The application of the Big Unit concept to the teaching of ancient poetry in high school is obvious,but it requires a high level of teaching ability for teachers and learning ability for students,so the application of the Big Unit concept to the teaching of ancient poetry needs to be further explored by teachers and students.For the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in large units,it is still a relatively "young" concept and idea.It is hoped that through research,a new approach can be provided for the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in high schools,making up for the shortcomings of the current teaching of ancient Chinese poetry.
