| With the rapid development of tennis on campus,tennis lessons have become an important part of physical education in colleges and universities.Because of its fun and competitive nature,tennis is loved by many students in colleges and universities.At present,the teaching of tennis in colleges and universities is still based on traditional teaching methods,and students are less motivated to take lessons.In order to achieve significant results in tennis lessons,the selection of appropriate teaching methods is inseparable.In this paper,we apply the small group teaching method to the teaching of general tennis lessons,highlighting the concept of "people-oriented",putting students as the core of the teaching design of tennis lessons,applying the small group teaching method to tennis teaching,changing the boring teaching environment of traditional teaching,improving the atmosphere of tennis It is a way to change the boring teaching environment,improve the teaching atmosphere,enhance the quality of tennis teaching and students’ tennis skills,improve students’ team cohesion,and develop students’ ability to think actively and to explore and innovate.This paper provides a theoretical basis for this research through the literature method,by searching for research on the application of small group teaching method in tennis teaching.The experimental class was taught in small groups and the control class was taught by the traditional teaching method;the mathematical and statistical method was used to compile and collate the experimental data;the logical analysis method was used to analyse,summarise and generalise the results of the teaching experiment and the questionnaire survey,so that more accurate conclusions could be drawn in this thesis.In the teaching the experimental class used the small group teaching method and the control class used the traditional teaching method,and the subjects’ tennis skill level,physical fitness,team cohesion and teaching evaluation were tested before and after the teaching experiment.The results of the study showed that:1.in terms of students’ physical fitness,both the small group teaching method and the traditional teaching method had an improvement on students’ physical fitness,andthere was no significant difference between the two in terms of improving physical fitness.2.In terms of tennis skills,the small group teaching method and the traditional teaching method have improved students’ scores in terms of reversing the ball,shooting the ball,baseline forehand and backhand,but the small group teaching method is more effective in improving students’ tennis skills than the traditional teaching method.3.In terms of team cohesion,the small group teaching method was more effective in improving the team cohesion of students than the traditional teaching method,and the results of team cohesion of students in classes with the traditional teaching method showed significant differences.4.In terms of teaching evaluation,compared to the traditional teaching method,the results of student teaching evaluation of the small group teaching method are better than those of the traditional teaching method,and show significant differences with the results of student teaching evaluation of the traditional teaching method. |
